Lol. You know who decided guarding him some more haRemember when Mintz was unstoppable in the 1st half?
Yeah, me either.

Chaos pressing defense? They scared. Like a chicken coop seeing a coyote inside.
I hope not. Jones is not a freshman. He played at DePaul last season. It’s just the way this team plays.I chalk that one up to freshmen inexperience. But as you noticed Jones was not phased and kept shooting after all his misses. He will be a solid player next year.
Are you saying they are the Rocky Marciano of basketball? This St Johns team is like one of those old, veteran boxers who let you beat the crap out of them for the first couple rounds, hug/grab/lean on you for the next 8 and then start pummeling you when you’re exhausted and can’t keep your arms up in the 10th or 11th.
I literally just texted the 114 crew that Posh stole his lunch money and made him call his mom to zelle more money in the second halfThank Posh's relentless defense on him. Killer. Mintz was huffing and puffing at the end.
I’ll be the first to eat crow if I’m wrong. A win is a win and you can’t argue with 6-0. Also wonderful to beat SyracuseNo one will ever think you are changing your screen name to ' Yeah Harvey "
Ah, then I chalk it up to our mental craziness. This team plays like it represents a psyche ward or they are in hunger games and fighting to survive; I laugh so much. At one point a Syracuse player was shooting a free throw and he made it in and Curbelo also slapped the dude five.I hope not. Jones is not a freshman. He played at DePaul last season. Posh is clamping people down. He guarded Girard the first half completely shut him down, then last few minutes of 2nd half and OT he switch on Mintz, and Mintz couldn't do a thing. Posh is putting on a defensive clinic. Honestly if you just watch him on the defensive end, it's a thing of beauty to watch, he's sacrificing his box score stats to win games, you love to see guys like this be successful. I hope at the end of the season the BE gives him the recognition he deserves on the defensive end.Thank Posh's relentless defense on him. Killer. Mintz was huffing and puffing at the end.
Here's the thing.... We have an identity, even if it at times seems aimlessly. Late in games, so far this season, you can see it wears teams down and may have an affect not only physically but mentally as well. That was a wild game. Our team is just wild. We could have bled the clock out in the end but we ignored the clock and just kept putting it up. Bottom line is a win but man if that came back to bite us…effort wise this team has another gear. I guess winning ugly is better than the alternative.

Totally fair questions. I wonder if this “style” of play can win long term. Seems like this will be a roller coaster ride. Nice highs, low lows.I’ll be the first to eat crow if I’m wrong. A win is a win and you can’t argue with 6-0. Also wonderful to beat Syracuse
