Dunn is graduating and will not return next year.

I'm surprised Dunn didn't play another season. He sat a season after transferring. It made sense for him to continue next season.

Best of luck to Dunn in whatever he decides to pursue in the future.

Here's an interesting twist on the free extra year of eligibility in college football

Jarrid Williams, an offensive tackle, redshirted his freshman year at Houston and later had a medical redshirt season. He was a grad transfer at Miami this past season and has announced that he is using the free year of eligibility to come back for a SEVENTH YEAR.

I hope that he completes his eligibility with a Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. degree. If he was so inclined, he could have finished law school within that seven year time frame.

If we are talking speed and speed alone, I'd go with Collin Charles. Fran called him our punt returner on the court.

Just hope we don't hear the kid saying this after next year

Good quote considering it looked like he was always dribbling a football.

Liked Dunn since he came on board--he's from Brooklyn, so what's not to like.  He plays with the grit of Brooklyn.  Being undersized, he had to be tough to get selected in the schoolyard.  If he is an accounting major (like John Warren and Billy Schaffer), he will need a Masters degree to be hired as it is a requirement for CPA.  Thus if a GA opens up for the basketball team, who knows.  His words when he announced this was his last game were very moving.  He loves St. John's saying it was his dream and was thankful for the opportunity.  Only wish we could be there for senior night to give him the shout out.  Maybe next season, they can hold a Senior night for those who are leaving this year.

That's a really good idea I hope someone mentions it to Cragg. Dunn definitely deserves a proper sendoff

I've heard of six years (the baseball team faced a pitcher from UMass Lowell in his sixth year, all at the same school, he redshirted one year and use his extra year) and UNC had a basketball player who,did the same after suffering injuries that caused him to miss two years, but this is the first I've heard of a 7th year.

If he is not trying to play professionally next year, I would be surprised if Dunn wouldn't come back to work on his MBA.

I will save my overall appreciation for his two years here when the ball stops bouncing and the season is over.

The fact that he already sat a year is precisely why it doesn't make sense for him to come back.  The kid has been in college for five years.  He's ready to make some $.  Can't blame him.

I still don't think I've seen a faster SJU player end to end.
he exceeded my expectations and selfishly I wish he would stick around one more year.

Speed, Elite defender, finished at the rim. He was a big reason why we started to turn things around last year.

Fully understand why he would want to get started on his next chapter.

Or maybe we can all just attend the big bash Monte is throwing him at the Plaza later this year.

Or wants to postpone entering the workforce for as long as possible

Dunn was a key element in the comeback win against SH. Dunn made the difference with Posh injured.

He's going to leave a big hole to fill next season. I'll missing seeing him dart around the court.
