makes sense if he plays overseas you only have a finite amount of time to make $ playing. Hope tomorrow his last game at Carnesseca ends with a bang ( not the clanging off the rim type ). Gives effort 100% of the time. Hope he has several more games at least in his St Johns career

We are going to need another guard.  McGriff can't replace Dunn.

I still don't see Pinzon as a Guard.  He's a true wing.  He's not a guy that is going to play double duty at that spot and he's like 6'6".

I would have been fine with another season. Always played hard.  Finished off some teams with his foul shooting late in games, and was the key factor in the recent Providence win. He was the one at the line at the end of games becasue he worked to get open after made baskets, despite having difficulties early on at the line. Gave up his body and landed on his head early this season. That may have accounted for some off games. He had his share of turnovers, but never because of showboating. Probably took more poster heat than anyone on the roster, and deserved better.

We saw our guard depth last game va prov. We can handle the loss of Dunn with growth from our current guys and some help from Pinzon. Could also be why staff is showing increased interest in Blocker.

Wears the red/white well and have to love the local kids.

Just need the Arnaldo Toro copycat post on Instagram.

Dunn left it all on the court and by letting the staff know his intentions this early and allowing them to react to his decision he will go out on a high note.

Dunn has been a class act from the moment he arrived here. He provided  us some very exciting moments, and gave 110% every single minute on the court. He is a born leader who will be successful at whatever path he takes in life. Some people just "get it" from a young age. Rasheem is one of those young men. He and his family should be very very proud of what he has accomplished in his young life, and very excited about what his future holds.

Staff is looking at Blocker, Mason and Douglas-Watkins. Plus I'm sure there will be numerous transfer options.

Dunn is already a 5th year senior. Coming back for a 6th year is too much to ask of any student athlete. Good luck to him, now let's go out in style.

Different player, but I am a believer in McGriff, especially if next year's team has more offensive options, which I think it will.

My favorite player on the team.  He was invaluable the last two years and an integral part of our success.  He accepted his role as a mentor to Posh this year.  He's gutsy and fearless.  An all around special kid.

Last straw for him was probably being shit on in the first half of the Providence game and then having his praises sung from the mountaintops in the second half./media/kunena/emoticons/grin.png

I wish him luck. I think he would give us more than any freshman guard, so I think it's a big loss.

I'm still not sure McGriff is here next season, but Dunn not returning increases the chances of a return if all parties are open to it. He may not be more than a fifth guard getting a few minutes a game, though.

Staff will have to do less tire kicking and more scholarship offering if we have a spot to fill.
