Coach K is desperate to compete with coach Calipari for 1 and done talent. During his recruiting in home visit with Okafor his family was impressed with his ability to identify with his players and his influence with the Duke admissions officials.

One big disadvantage to playing Marquette before the Duke game is coach K getting all the scouting reports he needs from his Polish boyfriend.

Thanks for posting the video. Watching reminded me of how good our 2010-2011 team was. They certainly didn't look that way under Norm, but something clicked when Lavin came in. They weren't the most skilled team, but they had a good combination of both skill and great athleticism.

Everyone has rosy memories of the one-month span where were unbeatable but often forget how agonizing that team was for a good portion of the season. Losing to Fordham, losing to St. Bonaventure at home, Quincy Roberts transferring midyear, rumblings of Sean Evans quitting the team, Ball State taking us to overtime, going on a 1-5 stretch in which we had losses of 15, 17, and a 2 pointer to Cincy in which we went 12-26 from the free throw line sandwiched between two 25 point losses. Then we beat Duke and the rest is history. Hopefully history repeats itself.

Harrison didn't even practice yesterday.
Harrison looked depressed when asked about his injury. Could get ugly really quick or we could come out and look very good. First five minutes will be telling.
