Gotta give you credit. You are backing up your talk. What makes you so optimistic that this team with several limitations can overcome a lack of discipline and a banged up Harrison to basically run the table of remaining winnable games?

It's obviously not looking probable, but last time I checked the BET winner gets an automatic bid. So season is not over in my mind until March.

The news of Syracuse's self imposed sanctions will only hurt us, since now that they have nothing to play for, i expect them to go into the tank, and the win will not carry the weight that it would had they been eligible for postseason play.

We are playing Creighton for sole possession of 8th place in the league this weekend....we are not in a good spot in the standings....so it looks like there s a better chance of us getting hot and winning four in four days next month than putting a string together to finish 10-8 in the league.

The way it looks now s we will be in the 8/9 game vs Marquette or Creighton....then if we win vs Nova and if we win that either GTown or Depaul.

A lot can change from now until then but thats how it looks as of today.

We were in the 10th spot at this time last year and ended up in a 4/5 game. Predicting our big east tournament seed as of now is pointless. Xavier just lost again last night, we could drop to 10 by the end of the year if we play bad but could move up to as high as 5 or 6 if we play well. Who knows what happens. But this team is unpredictable.

I will root for cuse to win every game with the hope that their pathetic move of throwing their current players aside to save future teams backfires on them. The current players should be fired up over this move made by their coach and school leadership

Good luck with that. They're first half of the conference schedule they faced 1 ranked team, 5 top 10 teams( incll 2x Duke) to come in the last 9 conference games.

False hopes, kool aid drinker, pom poms, troll, Lavin Lover, unrealistic, crack smoker, no clue....got all of that for four months. My karma goes down -3 with every positive post and would be far worse if not for a few kind posters. My pms are full of hateful messages...all for just believing in this team. Even many of the normally positive posters turned on me.

Maybe going forward we can just let things play out instead of assuming the worst. How much more fun would this season have been without all the negativity and hate?

Doing a quick look at the schedule i have us 20-11 9-9 That is not enough. I also think that i am being generous based on latest performances..

We have a chance, but not a good chance. I'd put odds at 15% to get an at large or Big East tournament championship. If the team was healthy it'd be higher.

So you're telling me there's a chance!!!

I think if we go 10-8 we are almost definitely in this year with the quality of the Big East. 9-9 puts us on the bubble and we might need to win a game or 2 in the BET. Have to go at least 5 out of 6 at home and win 2 of the games on the road against Marquette, Butler, X and Gtown. Not easy, but doable if we are somewhat healthy.

A great man who unfortunately passed away too early once told me if I pat myself on the back too much I might break my arm. Hopefully, I won't break my arm but was kind of on the money, lol.
