@DePaul, Wed. Feb. 14, 9pm, CBS SN / Sirius & TuneIn (STREAM)

I thought Gillen was way too repetitive . If I heard Brooklyn and Jefferson HS one more time , I was going to scream . That, plus , Cardinal Hayes and Iona Prep , who could figure out what he was talking about in seeding for HS playoffs . I liked Lappas better.

What's impressive is that Bashir and Owens had a mediocre game and we still beat a DePaul team that destroyed Providence who just beat Villanova. There are no easy games in the Big East this year. As great as February has been thus far, the worst January in our history will haunt us for the rest of the season. It's almost surreal that we are still in last place.:(

This is one of those games you just have to find a way to win. Well deserved week break

It's amazing that Owens ,Amed and Yawke had no offensive rebounds That is pathetic Can't wait for big players next yr

72, you are being very kind . Ahmed and Owens had horrible games . If we lost tonight , it would be a result of the 2 of them basically doing zilch . Big game for Clark , he was El Fuego tonight ..Simon had ok game . Ponds was Ponds . Shut down Cain in the second hand , who killed us early . Macic beat our guys inside like a Drum .

Being kind is the new February ME!:D
I also think Alibegovic had another great game. While the European Macic appears to be DePaul's secret weapon, Amar is ours. Mullin has come a long way by keeping him safe on the bench. Had he been in in the last possession he would have fouled that 3 point shooter who would have hit his free throw to tie the game and we would have lost in overtime. ;)

Gutty performance. We could have folded mentally with how many second chances DePaul got and how we were outrebounded. We rose up at crunch time. Great win. Shamorie still feelin it. Foul trouble affected us. Great to pull this out. Marquette will be gunning hard for us next week. Let’s go!

If we can beat marquette next week things can get real interesting because I think we beat Seton Hall at MSG that next game

I think you meant Yakwe who cost us the second G ‘ Town game and hasn’t seen more than a few minutes since . Not playing Ali and Yakwe Jax contributed to the winning streak .

Easy team to root for, but a hard team to watch at times. Outrebounded 45-25. Gave up 16 offensive boards. Some mental lapses on defense. Energy level was way down in the first half and early second half, as we were beaten to every loose ball. Yet they did what was unthinkable one month ago. They gutted out the win and made some big plays in the final 2 minutes. They never folded up shop during the losing streak, although that would have been understandable. Gotta be happy for our guys. Not only are they playing better, but they wear the uniform with pride and are all quality kids. Where have all the Mullin bashers gone?

Gritty win. Ponds is looking like a legit nba player sorry to say. I know his defense but the nba doesn't do defense anymore from what I can see; that's why it's so boring and I prefer college ball. I'm praying he stays but if he has a chance to get paid what can you do. I might be in the minority but I think we can still have a good team next year regardless. Anyway I'm just enjoying the moment and I'm happy this season is relevant again. Would be amazing to make the dance this year.

Good win on the road. Considering DePaul had the lead for a total of 30 minutes in this game and we got pulverized on the boards (kind of expected that) they found a way. Clark was sensational in the second half and Ponds closed it out. That charge Owens took was huge and could of went either way Mr. Driscoll owed us one!! :D

We’ve now matched our total win total from last year (14). Wasn’t sure we’d get there this year during the losing streak. Happy for the kids and the staff.
