DePaul (UBS), Tue., Feb. 6, 6:30p, FS-1

In similar situation with my soccer team and I always drive. Getting there on weekdays is a rush hour nightmare. But getting home quickly at night is always my first priority. Also the LA metro isn't as nice or dependable as the LIRR I guess. PS for anyone wondering even thought it's women's soccer the average home attendance is over 19K so there's even more cars/people than a hoops game.

But I think for some it's an outrage having to pay $40 to park a car, though your math about parking costs vs. 4 train tickets is sound. But parking is a business, not a public service. And a very profitable one. When McCourt sold the Dodgers he also sold the stadium, but held on to the lots surrounding it. :ROFLMAO:
Cheap compared to the NFL. :)

How much is parking at SoFi Stadium? Parking prices are being reported as $60 for season ticket holders and to get up into the $80 - $100 range for single gameday rates. Two off-site lots on SpotHero both are listed at $50 for regular gameday rates and you can take a rideshare service to the stadium entrance.

As for me to UBS: R/T from Forest Hills, $13, senior citizen rate. 23 minutes going via Jamaica (includes a 12 minute layover) and 17 minutes return, direct.

Back on topic, the Louglin Society is hosting their Winter Party tonight at the DePaul game and over a hundred signed up so there's that at least for attendance.

For me UBS is all about the time of the game, the size of the crowd, and the number of accidents on the Cross Island.

Coming from Bayside I made it from home to inside the arena in about 30 minutes for the Hofstra game leaving at 10:30. Coming home was the same. Tonight I expect it to be more like 50 minutes door to inside but on the way home probably 30. Port Washington Line is great for MSG but makes no sense for UBS as you have to go to Woodside and then back plus wait times for trains. Maybe for the Belmont Stakes but not DePaul.

I am not sure why it's so much easier to drive from Babylon or Huntington to CA but I could see it saving a few minutes an a lot of parking fees. It usually is a little easier for me as I have the streets as an option. I like parking in the garage at UBS and if you buy it prepay its $43 which is still insane, although if you have a couple of people taking the LIRR from Babylon/Huntington it probably doesn't make a difference.

Now if it was the upcoming sold out Drake Concert(not a fan), I could see it being insane getting out of there but that's true to an extent for any sold out venue. Done rambling. Way prefer MSG but like the emptiness of UBS and the cheap resell prices. Agree its not sustainable though.

I won't watch the game live tonight because I have hockey tickets, but I will keep checking the score. Should be a good bounce back game, and a blow out. If not...uh oh

Don't look up why Drake is trending all over social media today (I am sorry if this post makes some of you curious and you go looking) 😂

Oh and to keep things on topic, lets hope our team can make our lead tonight as big as Drakes... well nvm
Gee, thanks....you knew I would go look, didn't you...

Thats if you aren't freaked out and frozen to your step you are on lol. I kid but wow I was not expecting that at all on friday.

Thats still amazing that it takes that long walking up it while its moving.
Yes. It is amazing, you walk forever and then you look up and you're only halfway there.

But overall I am a HUGE fan of East side access.
