Even without Williams we should have beaten Duke in the tournament. I don’t remember the specifics but I believe Williams injured his knee early in the season. He came back but was clearly not 100 percent before he reinjured it and was lost for the season. My recollection is that Singelton stepped up and played very well for us. And of course we had Werdann.
