DePaul, Tue., Dec. 17, 6:30p, Peacock

Is that $1.99 per month deal for 6 months still available?
If so, where can I get it?
The Peacock site price is $7.99/month
Thanks in advance for your response
It looks like there might still be a way to get it. I bought a one month Peacock subscription today for $7.99, since it would cover the remaining 3 regular season games on Peacock. The last game is 1/14/25 versus Georgetown and a 30 day subscription bought today would cover up to 1/16/25. After buying the plan, I pretty much immediately hit "Cancel Plan" so that I wouldn't forget to do it a month from now.

However, before it formally let me cancel, they offered to let me convert my plan to the $1.99 per month for 6 months deal. I can't guarantee that this is their policy to offer to everyone when they cancel or how long this policy will last, though.

Unless we finish second or third in the Big East though (which is possible this year, I guess), you're going to need it again for the Big East Tournament. They have the entire first day, and the afternoon quarterfinals.

So, you were wise to get the six months.

My guy, Jacob Meyer, shooting a ridiculous 46.7% on 6.0 threes per game for DePaul and leading them in scoring at 15.2 ppg. From what I've seen, he's not getting set up well by his teammates either.

Still not where he needs to be on the ball defensively, but hustles and rebounds well for his size. There is a lot of redundancy there with the 5th-year senior Rivera, who is an exceptional shooter as well and a little bigger. Meyer will be a problem next year. He's so good in the midrange and getting to the basket as well. I don't like that Enright kid for him...Meyer should be on the ball more and given more of a chance to create.

A lot of selfish players on DePaul IMO. Skogman could average 4-5 assists with his skill, but just fires from 3 whenever he gets a chance.

I see Enright as their very clear weak link. Playing one level too high. Our length/speed should be able to disrupt him and destroy any flow in their offense. They're capable of getting streaky from 3 with some crazy shots but don't think we need to be too worried. They're a lot better than last year. I'd say they're a smidge better than Georgetown last year.

Outside of their 3P proficiency, a few of the thinks that stand up (to DK's point above) are they do not value the ball and turn it over. There is zero inside out to their offense and most of their ball movement revolves around the perimeter. Secondly, they're not a strong rebounding team. I do not see our defensive rebounding woes being a glaring issue tomorrow night. Finally, for as good of a 3P shooting team as DePaul is, they are a terrible FT team (68% on the season). That being said, if we lock in in the half court, this will be a comfortable 15 pt win tomorrow.

Let's hope it doesn't take us a full half to react to their 3 point game and shooting, like it did with Kansas St. It's obvious what their game is. Let's take care of it from the get go.

He's a smaller Jenkins without the midrange. He speeds the ball to the mid post with no plan and then picks up his dribble and has to figure something out last second. Everything is on his terms. He would drive me nuts.

my guess is -12.5... thoughts?

Have the same feeling as KState- think the guys will be excited to start "competitive" games... will it be close and we be potentially down at some point- yes.... But we have that ability to go on extended Runs.... 20 pt win incoming

It's time to remind everyone of who we are. I expect the bad first half trend to be finished tomorrow night, they should be locked in and swarming.

-14.5 apparently… Vegas expects a big win… let’s give to em

Opened at 14.5, gonna be curious how it moves because most people agreed that's a higher number than they would have anticipated at open
