DePaul, Tue., Dec. 17, 6:30p, Peacock

While having to get a streaming service to watch the games is annoying, Peacock is just about the cheapest one you are going to find and I definitely notice that they have some of the best picture quality compared to cable and others

I got the Black Friday Special for $20 for the year. Otherwise would have gotten thru Jan and then canceled.
$1.99 per month for six months. That wasn't a bad deal by any means, and I'll watch a couple shows while I'm at it.

The CBSSN last night was awful in both technical and the actual announcers.
The color commentator wouldn't shut his damn mouth. His mouth kept running like a magpie.

The announcers were terrible. The kept saying that Bryants zone defense was giving SJU trouble ? 99 points --45 at half ? The only reason Bryant was in the game was because our first half defense was slow.

From what I’ve seen of DePaul , they can shoot pretty well but they are not very athletic and don’t have a lot of overall team speed. We should turn this into a track meet. Press them and run them up and down the floor. We are deeper than them also. Our bench guys can play with them. DePaul will be exhausted halfway through the second half.

I am somewhat concerned that this game is scheduled almost midway through finals.

Have a question. I have Peacock but Peacock does not have an on site recorder. Since I have to miss the DePaul game, does anyone know if it will be replayed anywhere? All my other games are recorded on You Tube TV.

Thank You.

It will be archived on Peacock. All the previous games on Peacock are still available, including Big East Media Day at MSG from October.

DePaul's PnR defensive scheme is drop coverage, eliminating catch and shoots and making the ball handler either take an open mid range shot or attack the big protecting the rim. Unless they alter their scheme for us there should be plenty of opportunity for Kadary, Smith, Wilcher and Luis to cook in the midrange.

They also have a conundrum at the 5 spot. Do they play the offensively focused Skogman who can stretch the floor (16-33 from 3 this season) but isn't much of a rim protector or do they go with NJ Benson who is paint bound dunks and putback only guy on offense but is far better defensively.

Nice scouting report

Even my 11 year old twin girls were saying "he's so annoying." Was he someone at CBS Sports's uncle? How does someone like that get on the air?!

4th in the conference in scoring @ 82.3 ppg, only 2 points behind us. They get up and down. Strange offense, not a single pick & roll the entire game and their center (their best shooter) lives on the free thrown line. Gave Providence all they wanted.
