DePaul Game

A lot of anger on this board right now. We can't change the score. They need to put this behind them and get ready for Marquette.

Agree.
But that sucked.

Take down MARQUETTE!!

We still not out!

Has Lavin ever drawn up a play? And I'm not talking about this season or even with SJU. Has he ever drawn up a play in the half court offense other than iso? Absolutely pathetic job by him today. This isn't Jordans fault. If anything, he is the reason we made it that far in the game.

I had no problem with the play.
Its a standard end of game pick and isolation.
We used a variation with Hardy at the end of the Villanova and Pitt games in 2010.

I also have no problem with that play for the last play. But we did it every time down the court in overtime.

The season is over and so is the Steve Lavin tenure. If they don't fire Lavin before the team boards the plane the program is over as well.

That is one of the most ridiculous comments I have ever seen on this board
Congratulations!!

Easy Mark. He's just po'ed like the rest of us.

We're all po'ed
I'm sorry, but that comment was way over the line

Both teams have had ample opportunities (plural) to win this game.

Neither team deserves to win.

Yeah but we deserved to win just a little less

When a teams best player shoots 13 for 13 from the FT line and makes a huge play while tied up in OT then overplays Jordan going to his right and gets him to pass. That team deserves to win.

22 turnovers DePaul still wins

Lavin is the worst coach in the Big East.

What an embarrassment

OK. Calm down. Take a deep breath. We're all po'd right now.

They're not po'd in Howard Beach right about now.

Tough to be po'd in Howard Beach when you can go to a place like New Park pizza and forget all about this game. ;-)

Lavin was great...until Mike Dunlap left.

The best part of the game was the choreography on the DePaul bench
Those guys were more entertaining than the game itself

Most frustrating game in a long, long time. People aren't over-exaggerating with how bad this loss is for SJU and Lavin. This was a MUST WIN and they didn't win. It's that simple.

Lack of rebounding really killed us today as well. No reason DePaul should crush us on the boards.

Everyone crushes us on the boards. If we could rebound and shoot free throws, we would be 17-0.

If we lose to Marq then yeah we are out and whoever thinks we're not at 1-5 are living in a dreamland.
No reason not to beat Marquette.

Here's what I expected on the last play. Jordan penetrates and hits Greene or Harrison in the corner for a game winning three. And since it was obvious D'LO was hurting I was hoping for Phil to get a chance to win it. And to think DePaul stinks!
