Make no mistake Pitino is a great coach. But he is not perfect. He coaches and encourages the way he thinks best. I'll take the bad with the good, until it becomes too much and we have a losing program or he becomes a negative on the university's mission. I do not see that happening.

One possession? You can't be serious. Richmond committed homicide. That alone killed us.
I'm not sure you watched the game. Richmond played very well versus Baylor as evidenced by Dunlap and Scott's shooting percentage. On the other hand we had just tied the game up from being 4 down in the first OT only to have CRP put in a physically over matched Prey (not Prey's fault at all he shouldn't have been in the situation) he gets bullied and gives up an and 1 to go down by 3. Then Kadary goes on to score the last 5 points to force a second OT.

Edit: I'm not trying to be down on Prey. I think he will develop into a fine player when he gets a little older, faster, stronger and adjusts to the US college game. He seems to have a nice stroke and good vision, sometimes it just takes a big man a little longer to develop.

You don't have your worst free throw shooter on the floor, never mind receiving the inbound pass on that final possession. Your HOF coach and entire coaching staff should have been aware of it. Then again, he didn't listen to his assistants when they suggested putting Smith back in at the end of the Georgia game.

Zuby is now over 70% from the line after finishing last year over 70% as well. Smith on the other hand has never shot over 70% from the line.

Not saying I want zuby to be the guy to ice a game, just think we are really Monday morning quarterbacking it and acting like we inbounded to shaq.

Not if that was your thought at that very time it wasn't. Zuby either deserved to be the recipient of that pass at that time or not. Not yesterday. Not tomorrow. That night. Bad decision period.

The key in that situation is to get the ball inbounded and not turn it over in the backcourt. Zuby was not the first option, but is capable of catching a pass, which he did.

I will take my chances with Zuby heading to the line with a two point lead and 4.1 seconds left in every Quad One game we play. Anything other than a turnover results in a win in that spot nine times out of ten.

And ten happened already.

I think we agree that the main cause of our losses this past weekend was CRP.
