D1 Coaching Changes

Willard is smart enough to realize how tough it is to get elite players to come to Seton Hall so he will offer the coaching position to the father of any five even if the father is a truck driver, cab driver etc. The only requirement will be who the candidate can bring to Seton Hall.
Pop quiz: What position was Walter Berry's mom offered at St. John's?
Chancellor?

Here's a shocking headline the appeared in today's Albany Times Union newspaper::
Rick Pitino interested in Siena basketball coaching job

"Pitino wants to discuss the opening with Siena officials, said Loudonville thoroughbred owner Roddy Valente, a longtime friend who is a partner with Pitino in the Kentucky Oaks contender Coach Rocks."

Pitino would be a good fit working with his buddies in thoroughbred horse racing. The only other sport with more cheaters than college hoops and college football.

Might be a little suspicious when Siena lands a couple of 5-star freshmen.

Former Syracuse guard, Gerry McNamara also in the mix. If you want to feel old......he graduated Syracuse 12 years ago (2006).

And, in case you forgot how annoying he was.................

Skinnier than I remembered.

Per Rothstein
Tulane's Mike Dunleavy Sr. will promote Tony Chiles to assistant coach, per a source. Replaces Anthony Wilkins, who went to Georgia Tech. Chiles was in an administrative role.

Good for Tony
