Although the point of the bump was to further discredit Joe3, I will add that the new Big East still is doing relatively well. Butler and Marquette both won and play in the next round, guaranteeing that a new Big East team will be in the Sweet 16. Creighton is still alive and Villanova lost a respectable game to a tough UNC squad. Nova will obviously be a much better team next year. St. Louis, a likely future addition, also looks extremely good. Then there is the #1 seed, Gonzaga, still alive and still an option for the conference.
Georgetown was really the only big disappointment thus far.
