No need to attack TRab over this, he's a good man. Besides, why not exchange tickets within the Redmen.com community if at all possible. However I have long said that there should be a sticky thread for Redmen.comers looking to buy/sell tickets.

Absolutely. As one who has gladly given tickets to Theo & enjoyed his company I think your suggestion is a good one.
 
Ok but I have seen people attacked for posting separate threads that are actually SJU substantive. Double standard for certain posters

I do agree that a seperate forum of sticky for fix would be good idea.

Separate threads/separate titles/same subject matter. If TRab starts two more threads about tix to Creighton game, I guarantee you that I will unmercifully chastise him.
 
At this point, I think TR asks for tix because we expect him to. :lol:

But now that we're suddenly good they might be harder to come by for the next game.

It's a great idea. If I needed tix I'd rather buy from folks who have decent seats and are not looking to price gouge.

My thoughts exactly. It can help both the buyer and seller. And I agree that putting a "Ticket Exchange" thread as a sticky would be useful.
 
Theo is a very shrewd guy! He knows season ticket holders tend to have good seats. Why would he want to sit up in the rafters in a corner when he can sit with redmen.com legends. :p
 
Creighton and Butler both highly ranked coming in

$35 buck base is low for great seats when you factor in the throwaway tickets on the schedule.

Fair market value for SJU vs. a #10 team at CA in great seats is more like $50-75.

For the record, I give away any seats I can't use to family, friends, and employees. Some games or times you cant give away
 
To me this game is huge.
If we win this then they'll get even more confidence, I me this is the biggest game for SJU since maybe the elite 8 game during Artests last year.

I know we made the Tourny in Lavins 1st year and last year, but they we're young teams.
Lavs first year he had Norms 10 seniors, in his last year, he had his own seniors.

This team is the 2nd youngest in the ncaa. That's why Wednesday's game is freaking home.
CONFIDENCE.
 
I'm just happy they are winning I don't think their time has come and see no reason to create additional pressure.

No pressure, they're very young, not supposed to do anything this year.
Just play the same game you played since you were alittle kid, just go play and have fun.
Even the NIT is house money after last year.

But if keep winning then they'll forget that they aren't supposed to be that good.
First win, then comes the confidence and with confidence the skies the limit.

F waiting until next year, why not this year.

On the other hand-- we just beat a team (on the road) who came closer (on the road) to beating Villanova than Creighton did (at home). So A+B+C = wishful thinking! But a hellavu lot better than doom and despair.
 
Enjoy this one, give it a shot v Creighton & go from there. Sure beats 0-2, but staying quite grounded.

Agree with P Simmons that logic says we come back to earth ? hard but the way this group has fought back from being down double digits recently I am giving them a punchers chance. Protect the ball , Ellison no turnovers today :) , play smart ?, hang around late in the second half , hopefully we have a loud and large crowd and perhaps there can be another small miracle this week.
Way to start the new year. :).
 
Creighton is really good but I am glad we are playing them on campus. The crowd might be smaller than Butler because it is an 8:30 game but the fans that show up will be into it if we stay close.

Creighton is really good and we will need to play a near perfect game to have any chance to win.
