Only players who haven't disappointed are Soriano (though he's been invisible tonight), Wusu & Storr. CMAs biggest mistake was bringing in Curbelo rather than a shooter like Boum, Lockton or Dawes

Lastly, I told you early in the season to not extrapolate a season based on a couple of early wins for UConn against Iowa State and Alabama. But in your feeble mind, I was trying to undermine whatever you had to say. Well.... Look where we are now when it comes to UConn.

DePaul used Jones in transition running court and along baseline, was a good offensive rebounder. SJU allows him to stand around on perimeter for deep threes or drives 25 feet from basket usually turning it over

Wally Sczerbiak story. I was working on Long Island. Guy told me about this kid playing at Cold Spring Harbor. Good shooter and scorer. Guy tells me the kid would consider SJU if they came calling. Was told SJU not interested. Don’t know how true that was but obviously he went to Miami of Ohio and then the NBA. Story of our lives. I admittedly don’t remember all the specifics but story of our lives.

Their constant undisciplined play comes from the lack of coaching they are receiving. Every game it’s go out there and dribble into trouble. Whatever happens, happens. A recipe for disaster.

He was pretty skinny in high school, not that athletic. I’m not one to talk because I was skinny as hell too back then. He could always shoot though, had no problem putting it in the basket. He was definitely a coach’s son plus he filled out big time like 2 or so years later.
