Creighton is not a deep team but , get enough scoring from their core 5 . We got a lot of points from our Bench today but , with our top 5 in there we couldn’t get the the win .

Everyone will jump on Jenkins again but , our top 2 Portal Recruits gave us 11 points combined today . Dingle and Ledlum. That’s not good enough either .
 
Got getting a loose ball whistle was criminal. DJ got a good look. Should have lobbed to Joel but it was a good shot. Alleyne 2 rim outs here killer. Really wanted that one. Let’s beat the Hall and get Creighton when they come to NY.

2 last possession road losses to ranked teams gives me a lot of faith in this team.
 
The refs absolutely influenced the outcome. The foul disparity was absurd. Jenkins was fouled on that defensive rebound…but he still should have grabbed it.

Jenkins and Luis are the only two guys who are loose at the end.
Jenkins 0 FT attempts for the 9th time this season. Can we afford to have someone like that take the last shot down 1 when FTs are taken off the table completely? He took 17 shots and played PG most of the way and some how had ZERO free throws.

Luis took just 7 shots and had 2 FTs. I think you have to go Luis there the rest of the way. He draws help, he draws hard contact, and he sets up Soriano and Ledlum for offensive rebounds. That gives you our three best offensive rebounders (including him) near the basket.
 
The only one who had any kind of composure towards the end was Jenkins. Yeah he shot like crap most of the game, had three rim out, but he was the only one during crunch time who seemed like he wanted the ball. You could say Luis too but I’m not sure he was even out there at the end.

Two things: 1) Jenkins fouled by not only 55 but the other tall white guy. You could have called either one of them it was that obvious. We’d be inbounding with a one-point lead.

2) Dingle also obviously fouled. Have some balls to make the RIGHT call or find another job. The contact was so bad both players were on the floor. You have to do the right thing there. We’d all be breathing a sigh of relief if it were the other way around but they’re so used to shit like that, it’s just another day that ends in y for them.
