Hell of an effort, yes you can blame the refs but we got some calls too. What I come back to is Alleyne failing to take a 10 footer with about two minutes left and we end up with him shooting a three as the shot clock expired. Afraid to shoot.
 
I had to run a church blood drive today. Thought I'd get home for most of 2nd half; instead got home in time to only see St. John's last play. Dingle was creamed but I guess they ruled it was after the buzzer.

See we had 20 fouls against us to 8 for them. Have to think we got a terrible whistle today. In any event taking Creighton to the wire on the road is pretty good as far as I'm concerned. On to Hall.

I don’t want him taking that many shots either but if you wanna talk about the ball going elsewhere in the last 10 minutes, I saw a lot of people shrinking and running from the big shots. I’m not boutta blame Jenkins for being the one to step up and shoot after everyone plays hot potato for 25 seconds.

We tried to have crunch time possessions playing through Soriano, Alleyne, and Dingle. They all went terribly. Just blaming Jenkins is weird to me but I get it it’s easier to look at a box score and get on the guy who took the most shots. I disagree with it though.

Frankly, this is an undisciplined team. You should learn from mistakes and it appears they can’t or don’t or won’t. VERY, VERY, disappointing loss to me. What good is having 5th year seniors if they play like freshman?

Alleyene had an easy look for a floater at one point to put us up 3, and I think I actually saw a turd drop out of his pants. He quickly dribbled away and forced a pass to Jenkins.

Dingle it’s the same thing. Short arming good looks cause the moment is too big.

Jenkins shouldn’t be taking every shot for us down the stretch, but our other guards NEED to show up too

If was opposite and we got called for that we would be mad
If was original shot gets called, was on a scramble..
He got fouled, but refs are not going to call that especially on the road.
I wish the had called it but understood why they didn’t.
 
Damn, a lot of mixed feelings about this game. Lot of hard play/effort. Still some things we need to tighten up. Thought Ledlum/Dingle played well again. Wish Dingle hit that 3 at the end of the game. Jenkins was a little too shot happy early, but again has really matured recently and elevated his play in the second half. Would have liked for Joel to get reinserted into the game earlier when Creighton made their run. Creighton coached/executed the last play very well and smartly left it up to the refs to make a call against them at home with 0.1 on the clock. Damn damn damn. Onto the Hall.
