I think he's responding to the previous poster who asked if there has been any real talk of Anderson not coming back. Of course the answer is no. No one is going to publicly state anything about Anderson's status until the season is over. But who knows what's being said privately.

Creighton near top of league just lost a tough one to Providence so don’t count on a look past us game from them.

Greg Williams had a career performance from the arc against ranked Creighton at CA in I think 2020. I'm hoping someone can step up this year to give us another late season upset. It doesn't matter to what end. I just want us to beat Creighton.

As bad as I feel about the general direction of the Program I’ll be cheering for a win tonight. I have never cheered for any of my teams to lose. Not going to start now. Our chances are probably not great but this is a strange group. Maybe we catch them in a bad night or keep it close and steal one. Let all the chips fall where they may. Let’s go St. John’s!

I think at 10-10 and 2 wins in the B.E Tournament, they'll have a good shot at the NIT, if they make the NIT the powers that be will keep CMA for another year. I hate going against my team but on the other hand I don't want to make the nit then we keep him for another year.
I doubt we'd make the nit with an under 500 record in conference, so might as well get it over with and lose tonight.
Then I can root for SJU for the rest of the season, especially in the B.E. Tournament, if they win 4 straight in 4 days, then win atleast 1 in the ncaa Tournament, I hate to say it, I'm not a CMA fan, but that deserves another year.
Making the NIT doesn't.
