how well you think Seton Hall would recruit playing all their home games in Walsh ? Bottom line just win and fans will come
2 things:

1. I'm not pushing for all of our games to be at Carnesecca. I'm pushing for UBS, as I have said in the past.

2. Very easy to say "win, and we'll fill the Garden" but what if the Garden is actually an impediment to winning?
The Big East Tournament is coming up. Guarantee you, teams will talk about how special it is for them to play there, and when you only do it once or twice a year, that's probably not a phoney feeling. The more you do it though, the less special it becomes. Even the Knicks and the Rangers have better road records this year, than at home. So, yes, "win, and we'll the Garden", but the Garden may be stopping us from doing the first part

Come on you cant take rangers home record this year as an example . They had what 27 wins last year at home ?

He got roasted plenty in Ark. Few were sorry to see him go. For some strange reason, our fan base thought that because "he had something to prove", he'd be a different coach here then the one that got fired from Arkansas. Well the fan base was partly right, he has been a lot different here then he was at Arkansas, where he had some success. Unfortunately he's had no success here.
My thought was it was a good hire because we are least needed to string together competitive seasons where we don't lose to Incarnate Word and are over 500, contending for a tourney spot. And he did two of those things. But the third is the most important.

This is overblown. They panned in on McDermott when we made a run and he wasn’t saying anything of substance either.
I meant to post something similar but I guess I didn't. He wasn't shaka smart in the huddle.

But his teams are so well coached he doesn't need to say "do x when y happens." They already know.

We were only down by 1 point with less than 6 minutes left before our offense imploded at the hands of Wusu with 3 turnovers and Posh who gets an F for floor leadership.
Creighton got off 33 (THIRTY-THREE) 3 POINT SHOTS.
Their guards find their shooters........ Ours don't!

I didn't see or follow the game tonight. Looking at the box score these stats jumped out at me, as rocket noted.
In other news we have shooter (s)?. Only Storr

Good points . Or , if G’Town played their home games at McDonough ? But , it raises another point , both the Hall and Hoyas long ago went to larger NBA arenas for their home games and abandoned their on Campus HS gyms . We are the ones holding onto to CA , why ? It would seem like a no brainer to still play our MSG games but , substitute UBS instead of CA. I think the school and some posters have often said they want to retain CA for OOC and some BE games . Again , why ? One of the reasons advanced has been cost and Economics . Does everything at this School always sound as if the doors could close tomorrow because of $$$$$. ? Yet the Balance sheet shows otherwise ? If the school wants to play OOC games there ok but , all BE games should be at MSG or UBS . Mike’s point about putting a winning team on the Court will do wonders for Recruiting and Attendance . It could just be me but , watching on TV on Saturday most fans looked very uncomfortable sitting in the CA Sauna. So, let’s not risk fans getting Heat Stroke in February by continuing to play in CA . What do you think ?

Often times in Football, Hockey , College BB the Assistant Coaches Draw up a lot of the plays based on the strategy of the moment . In McDermotts case, at that particular point in the game , the Blue Jays were gassed . All they needed was a break and a little motivation from Greg . They got both . Contrast that with our Coach who thinks saved time outs will add to his buy out $$$. And , our players rarely pay attention to anything he says anyway .
