I missed the first game in Omaha, but seemed, from the box score and the thread, that Kalk owned the inside and really messed with our driving style offense.
Shouldn't the play be to keep Zuby on the perimeter to draw Kalk out of the lane and then let RJ and Kadary work their magic? It would seem that those two should be able to get to or near the basket anytime they want against Creighton and then Zuby can crash the offensive boards as the shot goes up. It will certainly test his motor, but I have to think Zuby is faster than Kalk and can beat him to the boards.
Our D should be able to turn Creighton over enough to create opportunities in fast breaks, but in the half court we have to pick up the shooting and hit our spots in the paint and not jack up 3's.
