The Pearl was a great nickname

Pearl Washington was a great college player but really couldn't hold a candle to Monroe.

Washington's schoolyard name was Pacman for how he zipped around the court, but I think that his Syracuse teammate's nickname for him was the funniest - Olivehead, because they said his head looked like a small olive on his shoulders.

It's my understanding that they are permitted to RT, but should not be tweeting.

If you are going to be critical of the Jordan foul, I thought that the TV analysts did a much better job of explaining it. They said that the foul occurred because Jordan helped out a few feet away and in doing so lost sight of his man, actually turning his back toward his man. When he found him wide open in the corner and rushed to try to hinder the shot, he was out of position and committed the foul.

One of the keys of our better defense this year has been guards collapsing in the middle on bigs with the ball. It's been really successful in that not too many guys have gone off on us inside, and has helped negate the size disadvantage we have. Better teams have had less problems with this but it still has resulted in st johns having 224 steals (to opponents 176) meaning of all steals in our games our margin is 56% to 44% - a sizeable gap. In turnovers, we've committed 353 but opponents 434 - a disparity of 89.

I disagree, unfortunately. While I haven't watched the game on DVR, where I can rewind and double-check, when I saw the replays during the gave, it was looked to me like Jordan's forearm hit the shooter in the face.
