Creighton Game #2

I will be there. Hopefully we get a nice turn out to support the team and create some sort of home court advantage. I suspect this will be a dog fight. I was fairly critical of Lavin uncharacteristically (and rightfully so) after the Providence home loss. Let's keep the rotation tight, play our best 5, stay in man and play hard nose spirited ball. My gut tells me this is going to be a close game going down isnide of the last 3 minutes which is where we struggle and even in our little 6 game surge here we have not been tested there. Another opportunity to pass another test. Let's go Johnnies. Excited about tonight.
 
I'll be there with 9 others. Unfortunately, half are Creighton fans, and a couple traveled in just for the game. Let's go Redmen!
 
Tonight is a massive conference game at MSG. Lets not focus on who wont be at the game and why. Lets just concentrate on getting the fans who are at the game to create a hostile environment for the bluejays. These are the type of games that remind us of why we love the college game/atmosphere so much. Everyone enjoy the game, have fun, and lets go Redmen!
 
Every game now is a must win game so that makes this the most important game of the season.

Section 114 will be well accounted for
 
Harrison has to make a better %...If he's missing, stop at ten shots.........Sanchez should play inside;no 3 pt shots....Would press them as much as possible...
 
They are a tough match up. Jordan on the kid who just came back last night. Harrison and branch on their other 2 guards. Leaves Sampson and obekpa to guard wragge and McDermott.

As I posted earlier Harrison was the one who stopped Wragge at Creighton.
 
Except for McDermott's attempted layup! ;-)

Seriously, it's easy to make every shot when you don't have a defender on top of you.

We should start Pointer (allegedly our best defender) instead of Greene and have him stick to McDermott like glue
I'd take a chance on their other kids to beat us
McDermott just blew by Jakarr but missed the layup
We don't have anyone else who can D-up on McDermott
 
we are playing ok on the O end keep it up we will wear them down ..as a SJU fan I hate to say it but Damm this kid MCD is a pleasure to watch move without the ball
