They lost tough games on road, but at home they are very hard to contest with. I doubt we can stay with them, but we’ll see. Their interior depth will likely be a problem Imo.
We will most likely be the perfect tonic for whatever ails Pukon.

Unfortunately, like last night's ladies game at UBS, it will men against girls.
The Uconn ladies were bigger, faster and much better shooters at every position.
The men will have to play a perfect orchestrated game unlike any game they have played all year.
No unforced turnovers and guarding all positions tight.
It is not impossible but very improbable.

Tony, I will always root for them to win. I’ve been a fan since 1979 and I know many on this board have been fans a lot longer than me. I give a monthly donation to Storm Marketing, I give a donation to this site every month to keep it going. Believe me, I root for them to win. Like most on here who have been rooting for the program for years , I’m just sick and tired of being where we’ve been as program for most of the last 20+ years. I know what I see, but I am definitely rooting for them to win.
Can't disagree with anything you've said. I've been rooting for this team just a little longer than you have, so I share your frustrations over the decades. But I will never ever EVER root for our coach to fail.
You know that's disingenuous to all "actual fans" on this site. I seriously doubt many on here has given up, whether on the season or on the program altogether (though my expectations on this season has certainly dwindled).
I won't speak for others on this one, but I consider myself an "actual fan" of the basketball program. I find there's no need to bitch and moan after each and every loss. Particularly after a game in which I don't think they'll win. Hopefully, the team fare well on Saturday and not embarrass themselves. If we win.... Great! If it's a close loss.... Oh, well. That's what I'm expecting. Those are my expectations on Saturday versus UConn. But that isn't my expectations long-term.
Personally, I see no reason to bitch and moan after each loss. I find it to be counterproductive and really serves no purpose for the betterment of the forum.
Whatever floats your boat as I can't tell an adult how to go about their business. But don't get all up in arms when people come after you (not actually "you" specifically, but any person who goes about their business in a similar manner as you) for your actions.
Lastly, if you're expecting losses then what is there to constantly bitch and moan?
To me, "pissing and moaning" describes a juvenile response. I think what others are saying is that you can be an "actual fan" and take a critical stance without pitching a fit.

Gene, trust me I understand the frustration. Everyone knows I like CMA, but even I said if they don't make the tournament this year, his time should be up, 4 years you gotta do something, no more excuses. With that said, I do watch enough college basketball to know things can change and change quickly, you cant get too up or too down during the season because it will be a roller coaster ride, it always is. 2 weeks ago everyone was thinking UConn was a guaranteed final 4 team and would run through this league easily, now they have lost 3 of their last 4 and if they lose to St. John's Sunday, they most likely won't even be ranked anymore.
The 5 game losing streak is very upsetting, however it's not like they lost to scrub teams, every loss was a Q1 or Q2 loss. The worst loss was against a Nova team, that was projected to be a a top 15 team to begin the season, and their record is kinda fool's gold because Cam Whitmoore wasn't there for most of those losses. Johnnies still very much control their own destiny, there's at least 14 games left, all it takes it getting hot and putting together a couple of winning streaks.
Making Plays, I don’t disagree with anything you said. The only thing I will point out is that you just started following this program when CMA took over. You haven’t lived and died with this program for 40+ years like a lot of the fans on this forum. The last 20+ years for the most part have not been good. The frustration is boiling over now. You don’t have the same frame of reference that most of us here have and I don’t think that you can fully understand how most of us on here feel.
