Clark

At times I questioned Marvin’s decisions(especially on some of those fouls lol), but I never questioned his effort or his heart. And as I said about Trimble, here’s a kid who was expected to do more than his ability allowed for, due to our roster make up. By all accounts a great kid and representative of our school. I thank Marvin for his time here, and fully expect that he will be a success at whatever path he chooses to take in life.

Well said.

As I'm reading through the comments about Clark, I had to shake my head at some of you.

Clark was asked to play out of position for most of the season against guys much bigger and stronger than him. In some of those games, yes he got outplayed. However, for most of them, he held his own.

Then when it came to scoring/shooting the ball, he was the 4th or 5th option in most games where he only got a limited amount of looks his way.

Yes, the season ended up having a lot of ups and downs and ended with a frustrating and disappointing ride. However, let's not bash guys like Clark. He did what was asked of him without complaining and hustled for every ball! We as fans should appreciate that and respect him for it. Not bash him just because the season didn't end up meeting our expectations.

Clark is too maligned here. Save the real criticism for the highly paid coaching staff who failed fornthe past several years to land a big man. Clark asked to do too much up front this year. He’s a good player and good shooter and played his role as best he could. Talented kid who would have been lighting it up as a forward if we had a competent big guy or two. He worked his butt off. I really like this kid and wish him the best of luck. Waaaay too much criticism for a kid who came from Michigan state as a pure bench player and really improved his overall game to his ability level.

i thank Marv too, seemed to be a good leader OFF the court. Cant argue with the bad IQ on the court second half of the season though. Stop with the kid stuff, he's gonna be 25, older than most NBAers. That aside, he was a good character to have here and wish him the best

Sometimes you are incredibly funny[/quote]

I prefer that ALL the time I am. But I'll take sometimes to start.

Would “always sarcastic” work? :)

341 SJU rebounds, but still a 1000 point 500 rebound guy for his collegiate career.
Not too shabby for a guy that got it worse than any other johnnie that I can remember.
