Yes but that does not win games
I'll put it to you this way. If I had a kid would I want him to be like Marvin Clark ? Answer is YES I'd be proud of that and I'd be proud to have Marvin on my team anytime and if I lose I'd never blame him. You win as a team you lose as a team
Great kid and role model. Dont even try to make this game about him
I respectively disagree. Great kid, but certainly can blame him for this loss.Nevertheless, I wish him future success and was glad he was on the team. Too bad we never got another big,

No-one feels worse than Marv right about now. He had some good games for us and was a stand up guy who represented the school well and has already overcome a lot more than a couple of bad basketball games. Hope he stays part of the SJU family.

I’m just happy another young brotha is getting his degree.

That’s the only positive thing I can say.

Big time players make big time plays in big time games ....err.....
Who here has ever claimed he was a big-time player though?

Is it bad that every time, after I read one of your posts, I want to scream WOOOOO?
[li][/li]Is terrible .....so long, and by the way take Trimble and Keita with you
Wasn’t this line already used in the ASU game thread?

Clark isn’t a big-time player. He is a role player whose game took a major detour and then unfortunately went off road getting totally lost his last 2 games.

This disappointing season - where our expectations exceeded our talent - will - like Old Man River - soon be forgotten in a week, a month, a year
The more important thing is for the players to get on with their studies, basketball and / or careers.

All the best Marvin
Thanks for the memories

Just boarded my flight home. Flight is filled with GREAT SJU students who rooted like hell. Proud to be associated with them via SJU.

Are we supposed to be tilt proof when a nobody like danfog maligns a kid who has already overcome more than he ever will in a lifetime.

I'll just smile and imagine clark with a one punch knockout of this windbag but mire likely is he would laugh and walk away, classy young man he is.

Or maybe like Alibegovic last year, a kid who lacks lateral and rotational quickness, hence not working out of the high post and all the step slow fouls.

Clark was not suited to do the job that he was asked to do

On the defensive end I agree to some point. The charges he's has been called for (consistently btw) without figuring it out is beyond any rationalization.

Secondly, his offense fell off a cliff. Typically if a shooter is having issues, they should drive the ball and try and score and build confidence. He was not intuitive enough to figure it out nor was the coaching staff leaning on him to do that. So some of the "blame" should be on his shoulders.

i am proud of Marvin Clark and thankful that he chose to attend St. John’s University.

Couldn't agree with you more.
