I'll get upset when he signs on the dotted line. Which he can't do for another 12 months. Lot can happen in that time. We've seen guys verbal to us and go elsewhere.

I hope the staff moves on ASAP.

Why?
Didn't Moe commit to UCONN his junior year? I see no reason not to stay in touch. Their program could change; perceptions of our program could change, Chris could just have a change of heart himself.
It's not like coach can't recruit multiple players at the same time. Staying in touch with Chris isn't at the expense of losing out on other kids.
Why get upset over some recruit signing the dotted line? I say let him go. Yeah I know he`s a 5 star recruit and could have helped us alot. But I`m sorry I refuse to cry over some 17, 18 year old kid.
I say let him go to Syracuse and move on, as simple as that. Lets get Jordan and Lawrence

Losing a hometown kid is tough. Some people get upset over all local kids that leave. I usually don't but this one stings a bit more because there was a lot of ties to STJ. Case in point the attending of so many practices and such. Again a lot can happen in 12 months. I have full faith the staff can get plenty of top talent but you ideally want to get THE BEST NYC kid each year not just get an NYC kid to have an NYC kid. That was Chris/Isaiah for 2014.

Not to mention, he was leaning heavily towards us about a year ago. Oh, well! I'm not sweating it. This one stings a bit, as you mentioned, but I feel we'll find a solid replacement.
Although, they are in different classes, but landing Lawrence will take the sting outta this one.
Honestly, if we don't get either Jordan or Lawrence, we are in trouble. If Jordan picks Temple or Rutgers over us, then we need to sit down and ask ourselves why. Temple is a good program for the A-10, but they will be miserable in the Big East for a few years transitioning. Rutgers is Rutgers unless Jordan wants to play football. Nothing special really. Not much promise. Lawrence is the one I really think we need though.

Couple things.
First I don't see Rutgers in the picture
Second Temple is Top 10 in wins in NCAA history so very much comparable to us in many ways. (urban school, legendary coach long gone, etc)
Third I will play your game even though I don't think we get shutout of either. Lets say we do get shut out of either. What do you want to do then? What do we need to ask ourselves? If we have a boatload of Top 100 kids here already is something wrong?
@NYPost_Brazille: Spoke with Chris McCullough. Bottom line: He feels Syracuse gives him best chance to get to NBA. #collegehoops

Temple is on a whole other level. They are a mid-major. Sure, one of the best ones, but still a mid-major. Going from the A-10 to the Big East is a pretty big jump. There are no more Charlotte's, Fordham's, or URI's. Any team in the Big East can beat each other on any given night there are no gimmes. As a recruit, you don't commit to Temple expecting to win right away making that kind of jump. They will likely hover around being a .500 team. Going from the A-10 to Big East makes it much harder to get ranked. In mid-major conferences if you are very good, you usually run the table and go undefeated or only lose 1 game in conference play. In the Big East, you are lucky to have a .500 conference record even as a very good team. Xavier is the only team from the A-10 that I think could be relevant right away in the Big East. Right now Temple's best recruit is a 3 star. We have 6 top 100 4 stars. Picking Temple over us would be a slap in the face.
