Charles Minlend Jr.

He's a smart kid who didn't need to do the extra year other than to draw bigger schools into the mix, so hopefully Stanford offers him.

now that he is going to prep for the year we dont have to offer now.... we cant wait and see how the rest of this year plays out recruiting in the next 2-3 months and then offer in July if need be for next year.

It won't matter if he still wants to go to school for engineering. Which I believe was said earlier in this thread.

Just checked a list of the top engineering schools -- I guess if he's prepping he's trying to attract Stanford, Cal, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Illinois, Texas, USC, etc. If that's his plan, good luck to him, and hopefully he already has a promise from somewhere on the condition that he preps first.
Love the avi, L J S A!

Who is?

Yakwe, although the original comment was for a different avi.

@Coach_Rick57: 6'4 Charles Minlend (Fork Union) has been offered by George Washington per his father. Stanford showing interesthttp://t.co/btOo11SGwS

Family can easily see him play all his home games at GW. Dad was at NCAA tourney in Charlotte, and renewed a lot of SJU relationships. I think that a great academic school will prevail in the end and one that aligns with his interests. In any case, a great SJU family to root for no matter where he goes.

Cooley watched him today.

@ASlater247: Charles Minlend of @ForkUnionHoops has offers from Murray St., WKU
& GW. Providence, Seton Hall, Quinnipiac interest

Committed to San Francisco.

Good coach, cute girls, probably some great internships in the financial sector, but not much more to say. Was hoping for higher-profile school for him.

Was high scorer for SF last night against Illinois St with 17. They play San Diego St in the finals of the Diamondhead Classic. Announcers mentioned his father and St. John's during the game.
