It's still extremely early, so by no means I'll panic. But those are a couple things to pay attention to as the season progresses.
 
Pathetic defense, can't stop the 3 and no weak side help. Anderson's team don't know how to play defense...pathetic

Love, love, love curbello. What a calming influence on the offense. He managed trhat clock perfectly at the end of the half. We have come a long way from dunn dribbling around halfcourt until 3 seconds left on the clock.

If we don’t win this game by at least 10pts it might as well be a loss as far as the NET ranking is concerned. The game means something.
 
I hope we’re just warming up. So far after two and a half games, nothing really outstanding to speak of. Defense is disappointing. Offense seems muddied and should be better given the talent.

Seems a lot of same issues persist: Poor 3 point offense and poor 3 point defense.
 
The MA system:
1. overplay the ball.
2. force a turnover.
3. get an easy basket.

If 2 or 3 aren't working, you're getting nailed by 3s or backdoored all night.

In other words, you get blown out by a high-major or have a close game with a low major like tonight.
 
They shot 50% overall vs us. That Scantlebury had a dozen, including scoring or assisting on some beautiful drives.
I am not worried about Jones' scoring. He is going to end up leading our team.
Storrs and other second teasers getting extensive playing time in the first half I think was a good idea. They need to play
in some pressure contexts. I believe we are going to need scoring and he and Pinzon are going to provide it off the bench during the
season, especially when Soriano or Jones is sitting for awhile and we need scoring from outside.

Pinzon supposedly is available tonight but hasn’t played. Why not? It just seems like no matter what there’s always an issue.
