I was going to post that it needs the Benny Hill theme, but someone on Twitter obviously had already thought of that.
You couldn’t choreograph that for a comedy sketch if you tried. Absolutely brutal.

Storr can play obviously
Mathis and WUSU worked hard on their shooting, have to applaud that. As much as I like the 2 point guards, not sure it will work against better teams, especially if keeps Storr on bench….
Not sure trust Stanley as 1st big off bench

Tend to agree. Let them start together for a few minutes to set tone then alternate breathers with a little overlap the rest of the game. Not sure Stanley will continue to be the first big off the bench once Nyiwe gets back from his mourning/funeral but we'll see I guess.

This team kind of reminds me of Mullin Junior year.
2 point guards playing together
Clear cut number 1 option
No clear cut number 2 option
Heck Soriano kind of reminds me of Wennington
Wildcard is Storr

I like the Wennington/Soriano line.

Storr, 16 points, with far more upside then Mathis or Wusu and 4 for 5 from three is pretty impressive. HS rankings usually don’t lie.
I would Agree that he has much more upside offensively than those 2. But I think he’s behind in other areas. Scoring from the perimeter however might be the biggest need some games.

This is where the what’s ‘best for now vs what’s best for future’ debate could be valid. Playing Storr 25-30 minutes might be best for his future success. 15-20 minutes might be better for this team.

While I somewhat agree, I think there is more to Storrs arsenal then outside shooting. He goes strong to the basket and is a much stronger rebounder then the others. We will need his physicality for the Big East wars. I would force feed him as much as possible to get him ready.

A few thoughts after a solid win.
The zone was a good move. Soriano should be always on the floor with the zone. He has difficulty with the switching man because of foot speed.

Jones and Wusu seem to be our best 3 ballers. Too soon to annoint
Storr after one good game.

Carbelo is exciting. Easily the quickest guard we have had in a long time. Hold the mustard.

Do not see Storr cracking the starting five just yet. Put together a few good games…..then perhaps.

Agree Pinzon is a step too slow.

TV showed a sparse crowd. Need more fannies in the seats? Develop local rivalries Hofstra, Iona, Fordham.

Defense is the key! We can shoot lights out but if we give up more that we score we ain't getting anywhere.

This team has the potential to have some nice shooting capability. I hope Pinzon is able to find his shot soon.
How many years do we wait before realizing that Pinzon is not that good? If he gets significant playing time it will be because our team is not that good.

I was including attacking the basket as offensive potential. How would you quantify him being a much better rebounder than those guys? Both of which have proven to be more than solid as rebounders.

Storr has 1 board in 37 minutes so far. Wusu has 15 more rebounds in 15 more minutes.
