Guys, I realize it's been 20 years since we had a good team, but can we please hold off on starting new threads every day complaining about something? Thank you

Does a thread titled "Questions/Concerns" count as a complaining thread? Asking for a friend. 
 
I know we are all sick and tired of being sick and tired after so many years of nonsense, but the complaining gets tiring day after day, month after month and year after year.

No, but it does invite another wave of the same complaints...
 
Has there ever been a team in the history of sports that fans; especially diehards, don’t complain about?
 
 
Well, after the housecleaning of  last year, with Dunn, Williams , Earlington , Cole , Moore , Roberts, McGriff , Caraher leaving  we worked ourselves up to the incoming of Wheeler, Smith, Soriano,  Mathis , Coburn , Stanley , Nywie plus Pinzon and Traore .   Consensus was pretty much that a big upgrade was in place .     So far ?   Answer  ?  Maybe , Maybe not .                                 Many of us were talking NCAA and a high BE Conference finish .  Probably premature .               Now that the Games have started we are seeing a lot less than we had expected or hoped .           Sure Posh is hobbled , as he was at the end of last Season but , if all the new pieces were as hyped , we shouldn’t be in danger of losing to FDU and St Francis .  That’s reality .    If that wasn’t enough to stir the Pot, we see BE rivals , Seton Hall, Providence , Xavier , Marquette , UCOnn, Nova winning big games against top tier Teams .           O.      Our best 1/2 game was a 2 point loss to a mid tier Big 10 Indiana team .  A team we could and should have beaten .     So , I don’t know if it’s complaining or , more of a concern that this could be less than expected .     Time will tell .

Verizon Fios customer service sucks. The Whopper will never beat the Big Mac. Mcdonalds #2 breakfast with extra hash brown almost $10 is ridiculous. Game of Thrones Season Finale could have been lot better
 
Restaurants charging 3% for using a credit card and not telling you is complete bullshite

Imagine if some of our critical posters were Alabama or Kansas or Gonzaga ( another Catholic non football school who points the way to heights we may be able to reach under our new Pres AD snd HC)
such posters would be ruthless against these heavily favored but losing teams.
give it a break.
losing is part of life.
Basketball is part of life
we are headed in the right direction
slow and steady

I promise you General — if we enjoyed half the success of Kansas or Gonzaga, few would complain.

The season is a long one and it is very early.  I remain optimistic that we will make the NCAA. I think that should be the goal this year.  Anything less is a huge disappointment.

Here's a complaint(not directed specifically at you SSG); I'm tired of hearing "we're headed in the right direction". Maybe we are, maybe we aren't. None of us has a crystal ball. After 20+ years of mostly hardship and a revolving door of coaches, I think those of us who choose to be reserved in our opinion about the future of the program, have earned that right. I praise, when warranted, and I criticize. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Maybe we need a safe space on this board for the posters who get their panties in a bunch at the first sign of something negative being said about the team and/or staff.
