@Butler, Wed., Feb. 28, 8:30p, CBSSN

Here I is. I almost never post during the game. People do be posting some nonsense on here and I'm likely one of the worst culprits. But the mid-game thread posting is a whole other level of ridiculousness that I'm only too happy to avoid.
I so admire that you have the discipline to save YOUR nonsense for after the game! 😂

The way it should be. Not feeling STJ, but St. Joes beat us to the punch.
That has been the story but it also had to do with a rebranding effort and some marketing firm made the dumb suggestion to give it up and go with the STJ (which the baseball team used on their caps and helmets in the St. Louis Cardinals style which did look cool) and the administration blindly and foolishly went along with it.

even after a win people find something to complain about. lol

What’s great about this team now is that it’s not just one player carrying the load. While Jenkins and Dingle carried the team against Creighton, in this game while Jenkins was limited offensively, Luis came on and thwarted every surge that Butler had with a key basket. Taylor, as has already been nentioned, was all over the court, both offensively and defensively and Ledlum with his steady board work is perhaps the most consistent. Once again, Dingle made his presence felt offensively down the stretch.

A big part of the game was Joel’s aggressive dunk in the ally oop. While his shooting has clearly been off at least he aggressively asserted himself which was a welcome sign.

The only thing, which has been mentioned often and seems to be a proverbial thorn in the teams side is its inability to recover from a full court press and allow easy baskets. To the staffs credit, we are seeing much less of that lately.

Biggest factors in the recent (3 game) turn-around are:

1. Jenkins dialing back on the outside shots while playing under control and no turnovers, and better short and midrange game
2. Good sustained improvement by Dingle, Zuby, Taylor and Wilcher
3. Consistent effort and play by Ledlum and Jenkins
4. Material contributions from a broader range of players other than Soriano and Jenkins
5. Better defensive intensity
6. Coaching motivational rhetoric
7. Softer schedule

That Administration was blind and foolish about a lot of things .
I personally like just the SJ . Forget the t.

I also want Redmen reinstated .

Taylor's play reminded me of Providence's Carter. He was everywhere doing everything to help win this game. I'm starting a new man crush on this guy! 😜
