Ha spot on.

Kadary and RP are going to do what’s best for the team and Kadary period.

I understand why the poster would call RP’s praising KR’s toughness a “crusade” though. See just last year that poster’s boy Holloway created a perception that me and others here believed through foolish press conference comments - that KR is a selfish player who sat out when he wasn’t hurt. In retrospect, we now know that was about Holloway and not KR, because Sha is having the same issues this year with injuries, his players and how he addresses them in the press. So Rick is having his guys back because he knows the perception out there created by a false narrative.
I’m not sure you or anyone else knows exactly what went on with Kadary last year. I don’t think you are correct to suggest Holloway created a false narrative. My understanding is the situation was complicated and Kadary’s sitting out was not entirely injury related. Doesn’t mean Kadary isn’t tough or wasn’t justified, but I’m not sure it’s quite as black and white as you suggest.

Really do have to win this game and seton hall for seeding purposes. We are getting the respect in the polls but in the metrics we are underrated. The big East has been getting treated like a mid major by the selection committee it’s a joke really if we have any slip ups I think we will get screwed in seeding. Team will get the job done they didn’t come this far to lose this game they will handle business!

You are 100% correct. I know now the information I got from a person directly connected with the SHU program was slanted against Richmond and I believed him, which was my bad.
Slanted is as kind a word as I can use, because when I went back after hearing a “slightly” different version I got the Ralph Kramden “Chef Of The Future” treatment. Sometimes friends turn out not to be that so much. Frankly, what I don’t understand to this day is what he was f’ing getting out of BSing me, just tell me you can’t or don’t want to talk about it. But, that was his call and I guess he thought losing a friend was no big deal. I hate bullshit, put it out there honestly and if it turns out you were wrong, own it.
However, FWIW, IMO, the situation WAS not straightforward and I think safe to say, could have been handled much better by ALL parties involved.
Since I don’t know exactly what happened and seeing Richmond handling himself on the court (and I don’t mean how he plays but rather his demeanor) but especially his interviews, my gut is that he as an “instigator” is significantly MUCH less than presented to me originally but that is pure and complete opinion.
I have moved on but am glad I got to see Richmond as a player and person, I don’t know but certainly I now think I was dead wrong in judging him as “THE guilty party”, dead farging wrong.

You’re a stand up guy Logen.

My avatar agrees. If I could give you an extra dozen likes I would, just because of your “Honeymooners” reference from the “Chef of the Future” episode.

Butler is another business trip for road savvy, capable Johnnies. I think they will view this as another opportunity game re maximizing our Dance seeding. Butler has some good pieces, but I doubt this group will have a letdown.
