Play to win. When we clinch then rest guys if you want. I want the conference title
Agree. If we were to lose to Butler and lose to Marquette (latter certainly very possible), we go from talking about 2 or 3 seed to 4 or 5 seed where we don't want to be. Need to win the game Wednesday and we won't win at Hinkle with 2 of our 3 best players on the bench

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I'm all for resting Richmond and Luis on Wednesday. Sure, a Big East title would be fantastic, but having a healthy team for March Madness has to be the top priority.
I'd agree if it hadn't been 30 plus years since our last Big East title. Winning the Big East would be a huge building block for the program.

Guys can rest when the seasons over.

Oh no. Please tell me you didn't just say this

Ha spot on.

Kadary and RP are going to do what’s best for the team and Kadary period.

I understand why the poster would call RP’s praising KR’s toughness a “crusade” though. See just last year that poster’s boy Holloway created a perception that me and others here believed through foolish press conference comments - that KR is a selfish player who sat out when he wasn’t hurt. In retrospect, we now know that was about Holloway and not KR, because Sha is having the same issues this year with injuries, his players and how he addresses them in the press. So Rick is having his guys back because he knows the perception out there created by a false narrative.

i fully expect everyone to play. Could rick manage minutes and get guys rest if the game script lets him, sure.

He is right now on a crusade to get out there how tough richmond is. Kadary is not sitting wed.
I see it more a potential minutes restriction as well… huge minutes for Lefty vs UConn… think he could limit him the first 25 mins… then have him close the game if necessary.

If* we can wrap up the BE regular season title beating Seton Hall at home… I would have no issue sitting whoever is hurting till Thursday noon…

Let’s see if Vince Prey and Lefty can beat Marquette lol

I don’t look ahead to games only the next one but since we played them earlier this season, I was worried about the return game against them in their place. Still am as I don’t like this match up. They will be looking for revenge with their fans storming the court and have Wilcher’s attempted windmill dunk with the game no longer in doubt seared in their memory.

They will out for blood.
Not worried at all. We're gonna lock it down with our defense. break their spirit, halftime the score will be 36-22 us.

With our defense, gl trying to catch us.

73-49 SJU

I would have Kadary or RJ today & tomorrow just getting treatment, only practice on game day.
Not like if they miss 2 days of practice that they'll forget how to play.

I want a top 5 finish.

Can't afford to lose a single game.

This is a must win game :)
Not a must win, but every damn game is bigger then the last.

You want to have best the ranking and seedings you can possibly get.

That's the one thing that sucks about college sports.
Can't rest players that are a alittle hurt.
Lose to Butler or SHU and say good bye to a Top10 ranking.
Probably wouldn't be a 2 or 3 seed either.

If we lose this game we will look like frauds, and if we lose maybe we are.

I think they just want to get it over with at this point.
