Heard somewhere that you are what your record says you are. Butler is disappointing. Started Big East 0-6, and won 4 of last 5, losing to Xavier.

Hinkle is still Hinkle, but tickets are going for $5, so they’ve lost their crowd. Expect it will be hard until it gets easy.
 
seeing -5.5.... lil too low for the #7 team in the COUNTRY!.... don't like the smell of this...

We've been there for most of 30 seasons. I cannot be anything but sympathetic.

Re : $5:tix. For most of these years forget about selling your tix. I couldn't GIVE mine away, even at the beginning of this season.

Butler at its best represents the great tradition of heartland basketball. Indiana kids who could stick outside shots, run an offense, and play D.

I hope they bounce back as a program. But i feel their pain and it's ingrained in our collective experience.

I am sure their NIL is bad, and Matta isn't a great coach. Going back to a guy for a second go round rarely works out
 
Sim might be subject to razzing by Butler fans given his bonehead move in the last seconds of the Butler game at CA

mjmaherjr first college team was in like 82 the Houston cougars phi slams jamma. Loved that team till I guess 84 or 85 then casually rooted Johnnie’s after that but I’d have never joined a website to talk Johnnie’s ( I know it didn’t exist ) until 87 my first Johnnie’s game in person.

We are going to play Houston at some point this tourney and we will beat Houston. Way too many things coming full circle this year . It’s Destiney
