First and foremost got the W when we did everything in our power to give it away.
Tons and tons of stuff to work on.
Probably our worst game to date, get back in the lab and work on the many shortcomings.
 
Should of had that double digit win, if not for the bs layup at the end that they just let him get.
Isn't winning by double digits a big thing in NCAA Bball?
 
For LMF and the rest of the anti Luis group. Here’s his stats today…….20 points, on 9-19 (47%) shooting, 11 rebounds, 2 for 2 from the line and 4 steals.

If any other player had these stats you would be celebrating. Clearly, without RJ, this team wouldn’t have won half its games.

Does he make some mistakes sure….. but numbers don’t lie!

Only issue there is he gets kind of surrounded down in the post because the defense isn’t even slightly afraid of us knocking down a couple of 3s

Being able to just be serviceable from distance would open a lot of things up for this team
 
Defense travels.

Obviously need to shoot it better. But the fact they can win these types of games and barely lose 1 on the road is a good sign.

They will shoot it better. But as Rick said after Louisville beat Marquette in 2009 in a rock fight, "Win with your defense..."

Kadary made solid plays today for those keeping score.

Btw I had a feeling today's game would be a mud fight. Butler is better than their record and they would be desperate.
 
Ironically, the Butler women have 4 points with 2 minutes left in first 1/4.Basically matching their male counterparts.
 
I’m equally disgusted with shooting 1/21 and impressed that we won despite it. The reality is this team needs to work on getting open 3s in rhythm. The defense and offensive rebounding are elite. If we shoot 35% from 3 in a game not a lot of teams are going to beat us. Easier said then done clearly.
 
There has to be someone on campus that played in high school that can make foul shots late in games.
