I respect their effort as embarrassing as this loss is to them and the program.

It concerns me. I realize it is his first year coaching but at some point he has to become "The" Coach.
 
During the Duke game Dickie V was very compliment saying Mullin has a big class coming in next year and people better enjoy beating us this year. Hopefully he is right and games like this are part of 1 step back to take 2 steps forward.

Pretty sure he deserves a spot in heaven for being around this

What could he say. It is remarkable he was not tearing into the team Thank the lord bits over Again we should not play until next yr
 
Dial looked like he has some ball skills and Yakwe at the FT line were only two bright spots.

Doesn't bother me. At this stage of his coaching career, Mullin knows when he adds value and is comfortable enough to let others on staff contribute.
 
Looks like Mo gave Butler coach what for on handshake line. Good to know he doesn't like getting his arse kicked.
 
IMO, the only thing worse than watching that game was the ridiculousness of this thread. Yeah we played God awful but the last time I looked we are still playing with a roster devoid of D1 players. Credit to the players and coaching staff for not making this the norm, but it is the reality of creating a D1 roster expected to compete in a top echelon conference from scratch months before the season begins. Just the way it is; criticism would be more appropriate if the coaches hadn't worked their butts off to bring in legitimate reinforcements immediately.

Stopped watching but if he did that is stupid. Take your beating like a man!

Instead of complaining I hope some now realize just how far we will have to go just to be mediocre. We win 15-17 games next year and that would be a tremendous accomplishment. I don't care who is coming in. 10 game jump from one year to another is really hard to do.
