The three this season tells me what we all know; we have the first line talent to compete with anyone but not the depth. Hopefully that 0 fer changes tonight.

No that 0 fer goes back to last year. We had plenty of depth last year.

It simply tells you that this group of players has not been able to win the big game. They have had many chances and have always come up short. Last year against Cuse, Nova, etc same story. We didn't lose to Duke because we didn't have enough players. We lost because we didn't make enough plays at the end of the game. Shots we made against Providence to ice it, we missed against Duke.

We have enough good players to win we just havent won the big ones. Same story as last year. "Unfinished business" theme has been BS so far. Time for this core group to finish!!

Here's where I disagree and why I only commented on this year's game. I think we are 100% different team from last year; I don't believe we have lost ANY games because of lack of effort or even stupid play this year, last year that was a recurring theme. Have we made dumb plays this year? Yes but they have not been the norm as they were last year. The effort and committment to playing defense this year is light years different than last year.So yes, last year we had depth but no effort. This year we have effort but no depth; I will take this years team any day over last years. Forget who might win head to head, simply IMO this years team is worth rooting for for the right reasons not because of the name on the front of the uniform. This year's team has achieved, last years pissed away opportunity.
 
@HowieKussoy: Hinkle Fieldhouse is worth the trip, but crowd could be better. Well short of sell out. Ranked 58 and 59 in attendance past 2 years.
 
The difference between a win and a loss in this game, as far as the state of our season, is huge.

Cant play this game in the half court. Just like xavier, butler guards the crap out of our poor pick and rolls.
