Bronx Bombers 2017 Season Thread

Ok this Met fan was at yankee stadium today. Nice win for you guys. But the brisket sandwich on the 3rd base side sucks. Is that a new cheesesteak place also ? Wasn't it Carls last year ?

Can anyone point me to good food there for next time I go to a game ? Holy shit $40 for parking now at the 161st garage. That's Nassau Mosileum prices

Grand Concourse mall parking is official Yankee parking and is only 25$. 5 minute walk to the Stadium.

As for food, last year I REALLY liked the Barnyard Wedding and the GOAT burger. As for regular food they have Nathans which is always great at a ball game. I will def miss Carls but I will try Jersey Mikes.

Minor League Note-
RHP James Kaprielian is scheduled to undergo "Tommy John" surgery on Tuesday, 4/18. The surgery will be performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache.

Needed that performance from Sev 11Ks in 7innings, just 1BB and 5hits allowed.

Need Tanaka to shut down the Card tomorrow night, and get him turned around.

And need to get Bird going. Was worried that all the runners LOB was going to bite them in the arse, but not tonight. Nice effort by Severino.

Don't forget about Bentances, getting out of that first and third, nobody out situation, with the lead intact. After that bloop single, I would have been perfectly content with a tie game, but Betances did even one better.

Getting a little revenge for WS loss to Cards in '64. But I need Yanks to beat Cards in WS to come close to erasing the demons from that series loss. I was ten years old in 5th grade and it was devastating. Remember bringing my transistor radio to school and all the boys listening to the game at recess except for the one Cardinal fan who we wouldn't let listen (LOL).

I remember faking being sick and saw a game on TV.
Snuck a radio into class, too. Teacher was cool. He asked the score a couple of times.

I used up by fake being sick at some prior point that i can't recall. :)
