How bout we take it one game at a time

Why? We aren't the coaching staff or the players...there is no risk of us looking past an opponent.
When we lose we are doomed, Lavin is lousy, and we can start coachign search threads. When we win and guys get optimistic, all of a sudden we are to take it one game at a time.

Please send check.

If you are going to brag and bring back old threads about things you predicted, then I will profit off my trademark

Thanks :)

Johnnies have put themselves in a hole. If they want a chance at making the big dance, they have to dig themselves out of it.

Not to sound cliche, but all they can do is take it game by game. Tomorrow is a huge game for them. Creighton is a ranked team and trending up. If you beat them at MSG, that's a huge win. So go out and do it guys.

Last night helped but we still have a long way to go. 63rd gets you tied with the likes of Belmont. Typically if you want an at-large bid you need to be at least in the 40-45 range at worst. Another 2-0 week and we won't have to say every game is a must-win. For now, SHU game is an absolute must-win.

Lundardi has us as "Next Four Out." A good 5 or 6 teams to surpass in terms of resume but as I suspected, yesterday's victory played us onto the fringe of the bubble. Gotta keep this momentum going

This is so much more fun than being a Kansas or Syracuse fan and not being able to experience the anticipation. Sometimes, too much success is boring.

didn't see this before I posted

How would you know? :) I'm in the same boat with you in regards to St. John's but being a life long Bama fan in football and winning 3 NCs in 4 years I can tell you from first hand experience that winning does not get boring at all. It makes you that much more excited. When things bum you out you think of your fav team. only wish I and the rest of us could experience this with SJU. Heck would settle for one NC. Depending on recruiting service Bama just had their 3rd, 4th or 5th straight #1 recruiting class and let me tell you that is exciting as hell and I.m thrilled with Bama's prospects for the forseeable future. Do you think it was more fun under Mike Shula when we went anywhere from 4-7 to 7-6? NOT

Guess who is knocking on the door according to Joe Lundardi...lets hope someone opens the door and invites us in. Yes, St. John's now listed in the "Next Four Out" section along with West Virginia, La Tech & Oregon. FYI, G'town is in the First Four Out section so if he is right, Sunday's game is monumental if we win on Thursday.

I know this is obvious and has been stated before, but tomorrow's game is critical. I think it's being slightly overstated by some how little breathing room we have. Granted, it's not a lot, but we don't need to be perfect.

Where we really don't have much if any at all is against teams we are "expected to take care of business against". DePaul, Butler, and Seton Hall. I can see the other 4 games on the remaining conference schedule being sliced a lot of different ways and us ending up okay. But a loss to any of the 3 aforementioned would be damaging at this point.

Of those 3, @ SH (a place it feels like we have not won in a long time) is by far the toughest, trickiest game.

Just feels like if we can find a way to get this one we could really be putting ourselves in position. 4 of the last 6 at the Garden where we are a different team. Big swing game.
