Bobby Hurley

SJU was filling MSG this season with even a glimmer of hope of SJU being good. Fran isn’t really a good judge in this comparison considering his admitted bias.

Can an admin please correct the spelling? "Bobby f****** Hurley!" is his proper name.

Honestly getting a little nervous that ASU will open up the checkbook and we won't be able to compete. Hope he reallyyyyyy wants to come here, because they have way more dough.

I was gonna rip Fraschilla a bit, but his last comment made me laugh: “It’s called Italian amnesia guys,” he said. “I forget everything but the grudge.”
Gotta laugh.
That said, back to Bobby.
I’d be stunned if Cragg cut Mullin adrift and didn’t have a tacit ‘yes’ with his new HC.
Gotta be soon.
I hope.

Agree Chicago with the proviso that like recruiting it is a fluid situation as BH as to withstand an ASU counter offer and then the moment of truth in pulling the trigger and uprooting what he has built in Arizona.

24-48 hours wrt Hurkey.

Will not drag out. SJU will make a very competitive offer and then it's up to him.

If no it's on to plan B.

You're saying that now as if Bobby Hurley and being top choice is something new...

Agree.
Cragg knew ASU would counter as did Bobby.
Both nodded 'yes' knowing that.
Now we'll see if that holds up.
On Wall Street, that's called 'Shopping the bid' and frowned upon.
I did that early on in my former career and was rightfully upbraided for it by my erstwhile boss.
Never did that again.
If I said 'yes' to a move, it was 'done'.
Guess we learn the hard way sometime.
Lol.
So has Bobby been offered?
Hopefully we don't find out until it's accepted.
Would rather not have this play out in the media if you know what I mean.
Don't want to be UCLA who went with Choice #11

We are the UCLA of the east. We expect too much for what we offer.

I heard Billy Donovan is plan B. Good enough?

Consecutive NCAA appearances and you get a statue here. Lol

Remember the Daily News back page years ago. That was Repole driven. He's definitely a Repole favorite along with Rick. He's doing really good with OKC. He would actually go above Rick in terms of Grand Slams.
