I'm actually glad we're playing DePaul. Very hard to beat same team 3 times in a year.

We will lose on Wednesday. When I watched DePaul abuse us at Carnesseca, I knew they would beat us in Chicago. We cannot beat that team and we will lose to them on opening night.

We had six tries to beat teams with blue collar big men (Providence, DePaul, Xavier) and we failed six out of six times. Wednesday will be no different.

Once again, it will be sickening to watch Seton Hall, Georgetown an others enjoy Madison Square Garden while we sit home. At some point, we should lose the "We are New York's Team" slogan. I mean.....it's embarrassing.

I'm gonna disagree JohnnyFan.
#1 it's tough to beat a team in a short season '3 times'.
#2, we're as erratic as all hell--so 'ya neva know'!
#3 I'm dumb, but not that dumb....flying more than a few miles to be there.
We'll win.
Dunno how or why, but we'll win, and, hate to say it, but I'll enjoy that sour vise that'll grip Femi's face when we do.

Beating a team three times in a season can be tough because the coach of the team losing the first two will usually come up with a different strategy for game three.
Does anyone expect Mullin to come up with a different game plan? Be serious. Expect the garden to empty out by the ten minute mark Wed to end this year of progress. I hope the administration doesn't accept an NIT bid. Enough is enough.

I think we win Wednesday then play Marquette tough, that game will be a coin toss, IMO.
 
I still can't believe how SJU ended up in the Wednesday bracket yet again. First Villanova lost playing for first place. Then Marquette played for first place and lost AT HOME to a Georgetown team that lost to DePaul by 30 points a few days ago. Then, of course SJU actually had to win and lost. Let's be honest, the least surprising game was the last one of those.

God bless anyone spending as much as a nickel to go see SJU/DePaul at 9:30 on a Wednesday night in a game that only gets the winner to the spot in the BE tournament where it basically begins.

Short time frame? They have had all season to figure out how to play the DePaul's, Providence's and Xavier's.
 
I don't know why but I think we'll beat DePaul Wednesday and I'll be there to root the guys on.
Hoping it's not my inner-Panglossian gene duping me again!
Told my son and a buddy--both in NYC area--that we're a wacky team. We could beat anybody in the conference or lose to anybody.
I'm hoping we come out charged up.
Because tournament time,is the proverbial '1-game-at-a-time.
