Big East in the NCAA Tournament

GT looked absurd on that last sequence.
Mad on focused scramble on defense and then Smith hanging around the top of the key on offense.
This is over

I think many of us expected the Hoyas to go out in the second round, or as the NCAA now calls it, the Round of 32. But Nova getting booted tonight was a huge surprise to many of us.

Up to Butler now to give us a second team in the Sweet Sixteen.

Gtown will lose this one, but they are going to be very good next year. LJ Peak is a star in the making. Smith-Rivera is nasty.

Rysheed going pro is so nuts when you look at Delon Wright...a projected (for two years now) late first/early second round pick. Wright is so poised and affected the game without even having to score on a night his shot was off. He has everything Jordan has to offer physically and is even an inch taller with an NBA pedigree and without the off court issues.

Butler a must win now. Such a disappointment this while tournament is. I thought it couldn't get worse after last night.

Big East needs to make a move. Add Gonzaga and VCU. Add Uconn. Just do something. We need another elite team.

Well, I really didn't want to root for them Hoyas anyway.
But the losses by us, the Friars, Nova and this one wipe out the traditional Big East holdovers in the conference from this year's tourny.
Now we need Butler to win or the record will be 1 in and five out ..pathetic.
Let's go Butler

Coming out of high school-
Josh Smith 6'10, 270
ADR 6'11, 280

Any semblance of a chance he can develop into something that Smith is giving them?

ADR needs to be strapped to a treadmill. It's all cardio with him.

Soft touch, good hands, baby hook.

Smith is noticeably more nimble and can get low very well. ADR is more stiff, but they are similar in terms of skill for sure. I think most fans fail to see how good ADR can be at the college level with the right coach.

Maybe the big east can get Duke

Who wants to hear all those talking head idiots on ESPN say, "I told you so about the Big East!"

Come on Butler. Salvage this day for the BE!

Nova crapping out of the tournament for the second year in a row really hurts the Big East. Of course St. John's being largely irrelevant for so long hasn't helped much either.

A Butler win will fend those talks off. Nova really let us down.
We really need a team to get to the Elite Eight.

I'd like to add VCU and Dayton. Dayton after we steal Archie Miller from them.

Don't know about Miller, but I would welcome VCU and Dayton into the BE.

Butler is the easiest team in the BE to root for. Who's the kid CO elbowed from behind? I want him to have a great night against the ACC champs

Obviously very early but Notre Dame seems a bit too athletic for Butler. ..certainly much quicker on defense and less predictable on offense.

Novs is a total embarrassment to the league. When you flagship goes down to an also ran your league looks bad. I am sure FOX sports is not happy at all.

Now Butler being blown out. This year went from great to awful in one day. Legacies are made in the tournament and Big East / SJU embarrassed. Big East needs to add some teams. Hate to say it but the haters were proven right.

There is no way ADR is 280 pounds. Bartolo Colon Is listed at 280. ADR is just as heavy and almost a foot taller.
