Im sure Hofstra would jump at the chance to be in the A-10 but I thought The A-10 didn't want them and that is one reason why they are playing in the geographically undesirable CAA.
TV networks drive expansion. Not fans and not schools. Unless networks kick in $ why would existing members decrease their share?

I can't imagine networks drive expansion at the low and mid-major level. But at the major level, I'm pretty sure Fox would pay more to improve the BE product.

Amusing dump on Rutgers.
I suppose the Big 12 has to decide if they want to be a national conference or the conference of Texas. Adding SMU and Houston would give the Big 12, six schools from Texas. Adding those two schools might also cause Kansas, West Virginia and Oklahoma to look elsewhere. Adding Uconn would make the Big 12 a dominant basketball conference with perennial powers like Uconn, West Virginia and Texas with relative newcomers like Oklahoma and Texas Tech.
My guess: Uconn and Cincinnati to the Big 12.
