If it weren’t so easy to believe it would be unbelievable. 
 
Hats off to Nova, but man, we did not catch one break all year.  Not one.  

 
 
2.8 seconds was just about the same situation end of first half when we didn’t use the timeout. Would have been nice practice.

How bout that lane violation? Hope that was blatant.

No words to describe this one.  Kids left it on the floor.  We blew a 17 point lead but regrouped.  Got the shot we wanted up one and Champ wasn’t close.  Great defensive stand at the end and the ball bounced the wrong way.  Seems to happen to us a lot.  Pretty devastating.
 
this game and that corner 3 we got for Champ sums up his career for us in its totality. 

great talent. Just didn’t have the killer instinct ever. Posh shoots 20% from 3 and I would’ve put the ball in his hands there. Some guys live for the big moments and some guys don’t. 

one of the more brutal losses I can remember in my life. 
 
St. John's basketball has a unique ability to make my stomach hurt. But the kids battled. Wish this could have been a moment for JC.
 
Another brutal loss I swear on my life I’ll never let my nephews be St. John’s fans let the fandom in the family die with me

What killed it was not getting off a shot on the next to last possession up 1 and then an airball from Champ. Just cod never get over the top this year.

I don’t care about any blown leads…you had the ball TWICE with a 1-point lead at the end of the game and committed a clock violation and an air ball. 

That’s all I’m adding to this. I’m sick of losing these games.  
 
It’s devastating. The kids played their asses off. Zero things went our way this season. And just when u think another thing could go against us, we lose the game on a lane violation. The phantom call on posh I expect especially after Gillespie elbows every defender. But a freakin lane violation? Come on

lets cry about fouls. Because Wheeler got fouled on every drive the basket. Nothing. But expected. And just when we need the ball to bounce our way it doesn’t. Twice on the last possession. 

then we set up a half court play and smith totally ignores it and throws it up from half court. 

it’s so unbelievable it’s believable 
 
Nova outscored us by 10 from foul line; pretty significant in a 1 point game. Hope we play in NIT but so tired of us not being able to beat top teams. Our guys just don't make big shots. 
 
Think they had a run 26-4 over 7 mins, no way we should have lost that gAme  Champ hits that last should gameover

Should have never lost a 17 point lead.Posh can not be on the bench, There  is no tomorrow.

Champ needs to do better on the wide open look.

Champ needs to dive on the loose ball or at least knock it out of bounds. Game Over.

Why was Mathis our best defender not on the court for the last possession?
 
This was a season that wasn't meant to be. Even after Nova stormed back, we had a great chance to win. We didn't make the plays and the ball never seems to bounce our way at the end of close games. Just the way it goes.
 
I think that Champ shot from the corner might have gotten tipped but idk. A shame his career here is going to end on that.

Back to back heartbreaking losses on Thursday of the BET. If all goes well I have about 50 years left to live, I hope to one day experience Friday of the BET though it appears unlikely I ever will
