I won't be watching this game, I might be constantly getting score updates on my phone, but won't allow myself to watch it. They were never supposed to be playing on wednesday and wouldn't have until the damn choke job. I hope they win for all of you people who watch it, you deserve a w.
I could care less about this game. How I think is, if they win then who cares because then they'll only be playing Thursday which is what most of us expected anyway. Only a W Thursday matters to me.

Guess I'm the worse fan.

I wish I cared. I don’t. Total apathy. That’s what this season has done to me.

Couldn't care less. At this point, the season is a complete disappointment. Whether it's our big man Marvin Clark averaging 5 RPG or Justin Simon not having a clue what he's doing or Shamorie Ponds jacking up 3's from 25 feet away, this team is flat out bad. From the start of the season to yesterday, we have to discuss intensity and hustle and why they don't even attempt to play defense on some possessions. It's so old. Here's the fact. When you lose 2 to Providence, 2 to DePaul, and 2 to Xavier, you aren't a good basketball team. I don't care if you beat Marquette. They just aren't that good.

And as far as the coaching staff goes, I have no words. I hope, beyond hope, that Mullin leaves after this season. Because his presence on the sidelines is an absolute joke. He has zero coaching ability and you can see it in the results. Guys aren't prepared, guys are making the same mistakes, guys have no idea where they need to be. Add to that his stubbornness around changing his staff (which is weak), inability to help with recruiting at all, and just attitude towards the job itself. Please Cragg, just move on after this season. Not even a chance I'll continue wasting my time on this program if he's still here next season.

I was extremely disappointed after making the trip to last nights debacle of a game. However, I woke up this morning remembering it’s March.

It’s new life. This team can beat anyone and can lose to anyone. Time to run the table and put the past behind us. Let’s go!

Disappointed to say the least. Mullin has one senior, three juniors, and one soph starting. No way a coach finishes seventh with that much experience. And Ewing has three freshmen starting and improving. Just think what Mullin will do with a whole bunch of new players. Future is not bright as long as this staff remains.

Ewing also has Jessie Govan, an outstanding, experienced big man. Put Govan on our roster and the results would have been drastically different.

Our only hope is that Depaul throws in a stinker, which they often do. The problem is that our guys just look like they have nothing left to give. I watch Georgetown, and their freshman are full of energy, so I think it's youth that matters. Then I watch Seton Hall. and Powell, who is an upperclassman, brings it even more with the game on the line. Then I watch our guys, and they look defeated and depleted. I they they care, so it's no that. They just appeared defeated mentally.

Ha, that's targeted at the wrong guy buddy. I'm not a fan of Mullin's coaching, lack thereof, or St. Jean's. Fatal flaw was not hiring a proven in-game coach this year. And it's negligent he wasn't forced to.

With that said, nothing nor no one will stop me from getting excited in March with a team who can beat the top teams in the BE, knowing they can also lose very easily to the worst ones. But it's March, and we're on the cusp of playing competitive ball in March. I get excited for March basketball, and am excited that the season's not over just yet.

Don’t expect to beat DePaul. .But, Hopefully,I will be surprised.

Staff will make no adjustments as usual, we play the same game and lose by a dozen. Same old song and dance my friends.

As disappointing as it is to be where we are at, have to continue to support them. Will be there on Wednesday hoping to get to Thursday

Against all better judgment, I find myself looking at the bracket and thinking to myself that if we can win on Wednesday there’s a path for us to the BET finals. We’ve played well against Marquette Seton Hall and GTown this year.

We’ve also had great crowds. If we take this game, maybe we can pack MSG and get some results.

Please forgive the delusional ramblings of this one fan.....

I hear ya Mick. I’m hoping beyond hope. I will be rooting for them. Staff has to adjust their game plan. That’s what I don’t trust. Fingers crossed!

lol remember when I was complaining about how bad we were at MSG all year? Well now I’m hoping that playing at MSG will revive this team from the dead because the last time we looked like a competent D1 basketball team was at the garden against seton hall.

Those great crowds were filled with people who are now disinterested. St. John's has long been a sleeping giant. But, those non-die hard fans are not coming out to see a team that limped into March.
