(BET) #4 Seton Hall, Thur., Mar. 14. 2:30p, FS-1

Isnt that Mike Anderson's ONLY philosophy and the ONLY thing he coaches. 3 hard minutes , rock fight. Say what you want about Mullin but St. Jean really did try and coach that team!
Ten minutes of hell, 30 minutes of "what the hell".

Boots had 40 in the loss at the garden. Our big guy almost won the game in reg time from 3 qt court. Grant did not play. Spike was there. when game went to ot Mike and Jarvis were looking at each other like can you believe this. I think they were friends. Next year at Duke we got a stop to end the game. Our pt guard jumped on the table in happiness. Our big was gone by then. I cant remember names until about hour after I send the post. Sorry.

A lot of past SJ induced anxiety & disappointment can be washed away tomorrow! After Lunardi said we need to beat Hall to make NCAAT it made me more nervous. To come this far we really need to win and make it. Would be so deflating to go through the wild rollercoaster & not make it. Need 110% effort & laser focus as a team.
IiRC Lundardi notes that we need the win or we're out. And NOT, we win and we re in. 2 separate categories.

R+W just put out a mail about having a reception at Feile prior to the game- drinks discounts...

Tierny is broadcasting from Stout from 10-2...

Options...

He hardly takes any threes and he hasn't been draining any 3's lately. The most in a game he's taken is five (March 6th versus Villanova) in which he went 2-5.

Here's a look at Richmond's stats behind the arc in his last 10 games....
People deal with the fear of losing in different ways. The method you are replying to I call "The Zaun"

The Zaun is when you know if you get too hype for a game, only to see a loss, it will send you spiraling.

To combat this, you hype up the opponent, make the game sound like a David v Goliath matchup. That way, if the loss does happen, you have prepared yourself mentally AND get to come back on here and play the "I told you so" game.

Until tomorrow night, fans using The Zaun don't see Seton Hall. They see the 2017 Golden State Warriors. ;)

not the worst strategy... I place an investment on the opposing team... i look at it as "Paying" for a Win...

I just can't shake the feeling that the most St John's thing to do is get out to a decent start, have a brutal stretch in the middle where everybody essentially counts you out, storm back at the end to reel people back in with some hope and then crush their spirits by falling short in devastating fashion.

Applies to individual games (home v Marquette this year), applies to seasons.

I don't know why but I have a good feeling about this game. Just remember, this is a different team after Pitino called them out. They've adjusted nicely.🤞🤞🤞✌️
