(BET) #4 Seton Hall, Thur., Mar. 14. 2:30p, FS-1

He hardly takes any threes and he hasn't been draining any 3's lately. The most in a game he's taken is five (March 6th versus Villanova) in which he went 2-5.

Here's a look at Richmond's stats behind the arc in his last 10 games....

36% from 3 last 3 games. Cannot leave him open or he can make his share. Not major shooter but he can hurt you if you give him space to shoot.

People deal with the fear of losing in different ways. The method you are replying to I call "The Zaun"

The Zaun is when you know if you get too hype for a game, only to see a loss, it will send you spiraling.

To combat this, you hype up the opponent, make the game sound like a David v Goliath matchup. That way, if the loss does happen, you have prepared yourself mentally AND get to come back on here and play the "I told you so" game.

Until tomorrow night, fans using The Zaun don't see Seton Hall. They see the 2017 Golden State Warriors. ;)
You’re…not wrong LOL. It’s more of a matchup thing honestly. Both games we were out-toughed & Hall clearly wanted it more. They’re much more athletic & deep at guard. Our advantage is our frontcourt. Having great games from Zuby, Joel, Ledlum would be huge. Sadly Joel somehow lost his way. We are more talented overall but we have to look like we want it more this time around.

He hasn't particularly shown he can "make his share." You're reaching, my man.
Have you watched him recently? When open he has a nice looking shot. I remember being surprised. Perfect, nothing but net 3’s. Of course he’s not Ethan Wragge…but he shoots well enough to make you guard him. You’re right that he doesn’t take a ton, but he has shown recently he’s going to shoot them if you give him the space. Just don’t ignore him behind arc is all. We’re due to win this type of game. Let’s go out and silence the critics.

Game recognizes game MZ 😂 . I am very similar with a few of my other teams at times. For some reason when it comes to SJU I bring a boyish optimism into all of our big games that gets promptly and repeatedly stomped on and thrown to the side lol

Stats show it. I don't have to watch him. You made a reach and now digging your heels. It's all good.

The announcers literally said in one of his games recently “he doesn’t usually take those 3’s but he can make them” after making one. Shooting 3’s isn’t his major strength but he can hit them when open. That was my point. His season avg is bad at 24% but again last 3 games 36%. I’m confused are you saying not to guard him beyond arc? Honest question. Obviously Dre & Dawes are much bigger shooting threats. But those are 3 good guards.

Please stop. Not to mention, stop moving the goalposts.

Traveling up to MSG from DC via Amtrak tomorrow morning. As the eternal optimist, I would typically purchase the return trip for late Saturday night (or at least Friday night), but I did it for tomorrow. So much better to possibly have the chance to extend the trip on the back-end, as opposed to having to call Amtrak tomorrow around 5 pm to shorten it and find a train back home. The psyche of a diehard fan -- thanks for letting me talk that out. Ha! Go Johnnies!!

We should not press the entire game. We are awful at it and we commit dumb foul after dumb foul in the backcourt.
We‘re not entirely awful at it…I think we are very good at making it difficult to inbound...but once inbounded we too often try to steal and commit fouls

Oi, RJ Luis had some nice plays against Epps towards the end of the G’town game, but he also had 29 games of guards flying right by him during our ‘press’ giving up the insane fast break after a made bucket.

Kadary wants to go to the basket. I think that would be a match SHU would want to exploit.

I guess the logical is they are the same size, but I don’t like it. I’d rather have Jenkins on him and have whomever is guarding wasu cheat and come quick with the help.
We cant afford for DJ to wear down or worse get into foul trouble.
