Someone's a little cranky huh? I was saying if we don't kill Holy Cross we are in big trouble. I wasn't talking about Baylor. That's why I said HC is not #16. I would also alert the moderators that Marillac broke a forum rule "No cursing" :p

Enough of these ridiculous comparisons and expectations. If he really shoots like him, let him prove it. Until then, I'll assume he's an average 3 pt shooter.

Actually Joe3 I have been reading the board and not reacting to you up til now. But, what Marillac says is true. You are gumming up the Board with constant posts, most of them idiotic, and making it harder for everyone else to come on the site and read these strings without the aid on an airsick bag. I started trying to just skip over and ignore your posts, but there are so many even that is difficult. Please either stop posting the same claptrap over and over or spend your time trolling and screwing up some other board. Thanks.

I forgot it's illegal to post in a forum. Forums are not for posting things right? If you don't like my perspective, shut up and keep it moving. I don't tell anyone else what to post or what not to post, so don't try to tell me. I have not been posting the same stuff over and over. If you would like to respond to my posts in a serious manner, go ahead. If you are going to bitch and moan like Marillac then go buy tampons and stop reading the forum.

The team went 1-2 in the Charleston Tournament

What type of respect in the rankings are you looking for?
 
So far this season , we look like a decent 35 minute team.. I've said this over Lavin's 3 years here, is that his zone defense has trouble containing any team's 3 point shooter.. This was triply reinforced this tournament. I think his defense is fundamentally flawed, if you do not have a 6'10-7'0 shot blocking center.

Awful loss of composure vs Baylor in the last few minutes.. lots of work still to be done here.

It's year three in the rebuilding process. The team needs to start winning a few of these games.

TIS, yes the Hooper comment was a sarcastic chuckle out of frustration about the loss tonight ; but, the comment that Hooper can genuinely shoot the three with the best came up in conversation I had with a Florida Gator assistant coach after their win this afternoon over Middle tennessee State. He knows Max well and says he is slow but deadly. We can only pray for another smart, great shooting, 6'6", "slow" guy just like our experience of 30 years ago before the three point shot went into effect.

Are schools allowed to take away scholarships?? I say we take away his scholarship and move on from him. If he doesn't have the respect for his teammates, coaches, or school to show up on time and be mature and act like a man...then I don't want him here.

He will continue to be a distraction all year. Cut your losses and cut him loose. He's had enough chances, and still won't learn.

He couldnt be redshirted. You get 5 years to play 4. He is in his 4th year already so only has this year and next.

You must have gotten tired tonight only. Since DET shot 31% from 3 and CoC and Murray shot 33%

Lets not let facts get in the way of some much needed dramatization ;)
 
They have six weeks to put it together.

It's a week into the season. South Florida lost by 18 to Central Florida and 5 to Central Michigan. Georgetown beat Duquense by six and Liberty by 9. Nova lost to Bama by 22. Notre Dame lost to St Joe's by 9

These games are great for experience; heck, has Obepka and Sampson ever played against the likes of talented Murray State and Baylor.
Still having problems covering real good three point shooters.
Disappointed Lavin failed to set picks for Harrison. Had only 6 shots through most of the second half. Have him run corner to corner with double picks inside.
Now I know why we went after Sampson; nice soft touch,doesn't look nervous anymore.
Going to be interesting when Branch returns. Greene has improved immensely.
We will be tough in the Big East; only going to get better.
