Caught a break on last shot, but we never get breaks. Ponds at end of day did it!
 
Why let that guy just run the ball up the court like that. Again , a low IQ play. You can’t let that guy just run free up the court like that with 4.8 left on the clock. Happy they won but this team has a lot of work to do!
 
I know bad officiating is part of the game, but I hate getting a win like that, especially because karma is now lurking later in the schedule
 
This team is straight trash in terms of in game coaching, VCU should have won this one. I'll take it but my concerns are growing.

That was clearly a foul and would have been a dumb one at that.

Very impressed by VCU. They will make hay in A 10. This is one of those teams on paper before season you said not good but I think they will be good this year.
 
This team is gonna put me in an early grave lol. Thank god. Ponds is a lunatic but he gets the job done. Its funny because I feel like when he is selfish throughout a game it makes it harder for us and creates the need for him to be the hero at the end. Luckily he is great at it.
 
Jesus these cardiac Johnnies...Ponds has ice in his veins. Every big play in the clutch late. We lose 3 of the games last year that we won this year. Wow. These kids are carrying the coaches to wins at this point.
 
Wow. That’s all that I can say. Definitely caught a break in the end. Hopefully, this team learns some lessons. Hopefully this coaching staff learns some lessons.

Sounds like we were extremely fortunate to win this one. Also obvious our core 5 are wearing out with all the minutes; Mullin better give the frosh some minutes beginning next game. Seems like we are about as shaky/lucky a 5-0 as humanly possible.

We've had 20 frikkin years of bad karma.. Bout time that bitch was on our side is what I say
